Prostitution is getting real bad down town on Kukui street, Fights between pimps and hookers all the time, pimps driving and chasing girls in car's and even doing U-turns in the middle of the street and driving down the wrong side of the road just to chase girls, the police show up and everybody leaves but once gone they all come back, I know, I live across the back side of "Pali Longs Drug Store" it's getting bad!

1 Yet most people feel that there is nothing that can be done to make Chinatown any safer. Yet despite the violence women's rights advocates namely the Hawai'i Womens Coalition say that prostitutes have a right to be in Chinatown. Prostitution runs rampant on the Aala Street/Kukui Street side of Chinatown. Gangs of drug dealers run rampant on the Pauahi Street/River Street side of Chinatown. Nothing will ever change. |

1 Not so long ago near this area, two john's were chased down by armed pimps and one of the john's was gunned down. Correct me if I'm wrong but last I heard the gunmen remain at-large! HPD responded to the incident by saying that at least no one innocent got hurt. What will it take to remove these violent gangs of criminals from Chinatown! |
||||
Just for your info. from what I can see driving to work everyday, most of those women on Aala street aren't women but men in drag. |

1 Because this post Police/Fire, involves 2 incidents. One in Waikiki and the other in Chinatown. The incident in Waikiki is an isolated case, whereas the incident in Chinatown is an everyday occurence. And by the way, although not as popular as Waikiki, Chinatown is also a tourist attraction. |

1 Most of the hookers and street-level drug dealers are harmless. The ones you need to be careful of are the pimps and dealers that drive around the 15-block neighborhood of Chinatown. Don't believe me? Try getting one of the prostitutes and street dealers upset. Don't be surprised if a bunch of SUVs pull up beside you and an entourage of large men give you their version of a Chinatown initiation. |

1 You see, most people kept their mouths shut concerning what goes on in Chinatown over the past 3 decades. I kept my mouth shut concerning what was going down in downtown. Did it help? Hell no! These criminals are now all over the streets of Chinatown and people like you don't give a damn just because it's not happenning in your back yard. |
