Vegas... the Hawaiians, such as myself, are in Vegas. It's too expensive to live in Hawai'i, gatta move away or live on the beach and personally, I'd rather live on the beach but the US govt wont allow that. Vegas has the second highest population of Hawaiians outside of Hawai'i.. if you ask me, I think we might have a higher population since all the "Hawaiians" back home are asians, filipinos, micronesians or haoles who SAY theyre Hawaiian but aren't. It's a sad day when Hawaiians can't even afford to live in their homeland but we saw it coming didn't we? The demise of Kanaka Maoli have been in the works ever since the overthrow. Hawaiians are an endangered species. We should stop messing around with and having keiki with non-hawaiians, that's my opinion. Its our responsibility to ensure the survival of our bloodlines.

brother Kuualoha, i weep for you. there have not been any pure Hawaiians for a long time. My grandfather was the last pure hawaiian that I know.

I weep for you because I can sense the hate in your heart. when I was a young man, I too had that anger. but instead of hating and bashing others, you should use that energy for something good. I did, and now, I am a much happier "island-son" and I used my energy to help with the Hokulea. this opened my eyes and my heart. i am forever thankful to our micronesian brothers for their gift to the hawaiians.

Aloha. God Bless

There are a few Hawaiians here in France. We listen to Willie K's O holly night and cry together. I will say that the French are ok.

According to today's paper over 50% of our very-well-cared-for homeless claim to be Hawaiians. Anyone care to explain, why, in the twenty-first century, that so many are still not in the workforce? Personally, I think a lot of Hawaiians think they're owed a living, enjoy living on the welfare system, and I don't feel one bit sorry for whatever bad things befall them, or anyone else that thinks like them. Liberals treat them as pets, I treat them like bums, if they fit the bill. I'm forced to pay their way and don't like it one bit, why would I like doing so? I drive a twenty-five-year-old Jeep, they drive new pickups with lots of bling.

I always crack up at the way Hawaii people just worship Vegas...only Hawaii people would dub Vegas the "ninth island". LOL..Vegas is so freaking overrated, the games are rigged to where you rarely hear people winning it big and yet youve got locals fly up there for their two or three week vacation every year for decades and they never win anything.
Too funny.....
