Since there is a lot of public concern about this case, the public should be forming a posse. go out to the leeward and north shore areas and cruise around, looking for a red GM or Chevy truck that matches the description. Mark the location and call it in to HPD... have them investigate whether it is or is not the vehicle.

The driver is as scared as anyone so making contact would be unadvisable; however we can do our job to close this matter or any other matters just by helping out and being a good citizen of the community.

I know I will be looking this weekend.... good luck

I was a friend of David's.
He moved away several years ago, but I will always have a strong momory of the person he was. David could bring life into any room and put a smile on the saddest of faces. He was the kind of person who always had candy to give his friends at football games. He made people homemade birthday cards. He loved being the loudest at football games. He was always focusing on life's little joys, and taught everyone around him to lighten up. David Aldridge was an exceptional person, as well as a true and wonderful friend. I send my sympathies to his family members and friends. May he be remembered as what he was. A badass to the end.:)

I just want to say how sorry i am about the loss of a sweet, warm, and wondeful person david was. i couldnt believe what i heard when i got the news. at first i didnt want to believe it, but i had to see for myself. and sure enough it was true. i miss him so much, i wish he was still here on earth with you all. he was so young, and had so many dreams. god bless you all, and please take care.
