Great advice, I am just visiting from Omaha when I saw this post. We may retire here in a couple of years but we may have to rent.
If we can't find an affordable home at that time, even though we heard they are getting a little cheaper with the down economy, we may have to sign a lease.
It sounds like there is going to be a lot more homework to be done after reading this helpful post.
