I heard he quit the team with three games left in the season, and then had transfer to Kapolei High School. I wonder why?

to the moron that said change the parents and players from waianae should go to the games and practice himself and then you would know what most people in the waianae community is feeling, just look at the last few years oia champ game against kahuku and leilehua the offense cannot even score a td or even when they went for the fg against st louis in the state semis they had stlouis on the ropes the defense was tired and waianae bail them out by trying a fg, thats coaching not parenting, oh yeah the weight room open but no coaches or trainers to teach or train the kids or put them through a program design to help them be better ball players

Manoa is right..Manley is the best QB in Hawaii. What I like is that when the Puns came around to hire him, he turned them down. He is loyal to his good public school and I admire that!

One more loss and Waianae might not make the playoffs there are talented players but bad coaching. Matsumoto should do the school and community a big favor and step down, not one title in 11 seasons and getting worst. Why is he still there? Not a very good motivator, does not instill disipline in the kids and as a career counselor hardly any of his players go on to a university just for academics. That offensive coordinator is a joke with his play calling there are pop warner coaches that can do a better job then this wannabe. In order for Waianae to get back winning titles changes need to be made so Tokunaga enough of this buddy buddy do the right thing and FIRE there u know what!!

Waianae still has a whole lot of athletes left, its the coaches that needs to be replaced ASAP. If not my home town will never win another championship anytime soon. So Waianae community let's get a petition going, and get these coaches out,get coaches that will let our community know, that our football team still have what takes to win champions. Untill that happens, high school football is out of my vocabulary.
