Wow 41 years, and they finally found each other. Amazing. It's always interesting to see how people have changed or not changed over the years.

A great story and one I am trying to achieve. Now that I am retired...memories (or mostly partial ones) drive me to seek out former comrades in arms. Like one of the other posters, I can remember some nick names but not real names. Alas, I did not write down names of my fellow marines in what few photos I still have of my tour in 'Nam. Memo to self....in next life, remember to write down real names. Welcome home to all who have served....Semper Fi

What a wonderful heart warming story. Having been a Army wife during the time of Vietnam War seeing a life different than any one could know, unless you were part of it.
Would have liked to have seen more pictures of the time these two heros will spend together after such a long time apart.
