Dog Chapman show returning to A&E July 16th

What do you guys think? I don't like the show and think it makes Hawaii look really bad.

They are what we call white trailer park trash. Makes Hawaii look like a crime infested place to live. Really I am always answering questions about Hawaii at work here in Texas. Hawaii folks should protest.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, and do not have to think like you do. I don't care for the show, but the picture of Beth in yesterdays newspaper was a nice one. She did look like she did something, but I don't know what it is. Could be some cosmetic surgery (they can afford it now) and maybe she lost some weight as well. So yes, I also agree that Beth looked good (in the picture)!

It's about entertainment, ratings and a false
image that can be harmful to a realistic outlook,
for young Caucasians.

It is the modern day "Tarzan" image "acting"
as if he's fairing well
in the "Native Jungle" environment.
The whole team are White-that works against them.
Even Hawaii 5-o had Zulu.

Locals( other than Hawaii) throughout history have been mis-cast
and slighted in credit, especially from the Hollywood machine.

One incredibly smart "haole" explorer IMO,
was Roald Amundsen. He was the 1st man to set
foot on the South Ploe (1911). The success of
his accomplishment was due to the survival
skills he learned living with the Inuits.

As an outsider, "He Shut up , listened and
paid attention." Others met icy deaths.

The fun part about being local is that
you're constantly learning respect for
other cultures...everyday.

Some ethnic food, I still gotta come around
to "handling it." But, I won't be ignorantly

It's not like Dog is staging crimes to make Hawaii look bad. Unfortunately he has plenty of real material to work with.
And, FYI, you don't have to live in a trailer to be "trailer trash." Plenty of the shack-dwellers on the west side qualify! LOL!
