Sounds like you have a good shot at it! I hope they do call. I'm 35, and pretty average too. I was pretty funny in the interviews and was just upbeat too. I don't have a problem making an idiot of myself, so that was kind of fun. My husband is a police officer, so the vacation is for him, Mr. Stress. That would be fun to tape together in LA. Let's keep our fingers crossed! Have a great time in Vegas. Go see a show & win lots of money. I would love to keep in contact. Between the gal I know and your friend, there are four of us that can keep each other posted! Then when one of us gets on, we can put in the good word for each other! Keep in touch. At the actual taping...there were all types of people...very mixed plate....military, african american, haole....Im hawaiian/caucasian....

You are not going to believe what I read today. A girl from oh I forget where she was from. Anyhow, she said that she did real good in the video and was disappointed after 6 months she didn't hear anything. I guess she did her audition in April and got called in Nov. Now that is a wait. We could have to wait until Christmas. ugh. By then I hope I have forgotten about it. ;)

it's so hard not to think about it...so how many actually got the yes or no card....anyone fumbled the interview....like your mind goes absolutely blank....anyone cried etc...the waiting is killing me.....good luck to all.

Im hawaiian caucasian....I've seen other ethnicities represented at the final private casting call...Military, Haoles....alot of people who were not born in the Islands were at that casting call.......I hope someone who was born and raised from Hawaii makes it on the show...not necessarily Hawaiian/mixed...but someone who was not implanted into Hawaii....Its difficult being on the islands...to get casted on shows like theses......I've seen other shows come to the islands...who choose someone from the mainland all the time....So this time..it was nice to see local people make it.

Ooooooo. Maybe you guys are one step ahead of me! I'm sure you got super excited when you won the million right? Just as excited when they showed you the yes/no cards, right? OK. Wishful thinking for me... Of course, no calls yet. Keeping my cell phone charged, just in case ;).
My friend at work hasn't heard anything either. As soon as someone hears...post it!!! The anticipation is killing me!

I know the waiting is insane...no call yet....everyone has a 50/50 chance...One day your In...next day your out.....my gut is telling me people should be hearing a call back by the middle or the end of this month......im pretty sure of that...good luck to all...post it if you make it...

I will make a screen name later today. Rys13 maybe they didn't do the yes no in your town. Don't give up. I am like you. Going crazy waiting. I think about it every day. I don't figure they will call on a Sat or Sun so that is the only day I really don't jump when the phone rings. I wish more people would join our chat so we have more to go on. Sound like a co worker did the video also so I guess you have someone to talk to about it. I just hope when someone gets a call they will post right away. I will I promise. That cams world website was a good place too bad he closed it down.

I made it to the 2nd phase interview. I live in Southern California. We were invited to the studios in Culver City and interviewed while video taping us at the same time. It was alot of fun, more laid back then the initial open casting.

At the conclusion of the interview, we were told it could take from 3 weeks to 5 months for the new (30 min.) syndicated show AND 1 - 12 months for the current show.

It's been about 2 weeks already.

What is the difference between the syndicated show and current show? Do you mean that they tape you and then see if they want your show to air? Confusing me now!! I'm just a small town Ohio girl. lol It has been 1 month tomorrow since I played my mock game and taped my 20 min interview. I hope they call soon. Did you play the yes or no game? What are the real odds I wonder of getting on the show.??? Nice to see a new person on this site.

Yeah, I heard that about the syndicated show. It will be 30 minutes long with Howie as the host. But the top money will not be $1,000,000. I think I remember $250,000 as the top. I could be wrong. Who said they were taping in June? DOND check your email ;).
