Girls had middle-comb hair styles in the '70s. Then there was the Farrah Fawcett feathered look. My friend Leonard called it "fut-face" because the hair was blown back away from the face, as if reacting to a f@rt.

i liked certain events that i attended in the mid 80s on oahu. one was king kalakaua jubilee centennial in november 1986. there was a huge tent in front of the palace and all the ladies were dressed in long mu'umu'u for the luau. there were 1000 participating. the royal hawaiian band dressed in white.
the other was "lokahi 1987" with 50,000 people in aloha stadium, free hawaiian food, 8 hours of hula. any of you were there too?

Followed by the lets all get perms in the 80's with choke plenty hair spray on the bangs. I think the ladies in the 80’s started the hole in the ozone layer.
I had in outfit I wore in the 80’s that looked like it came from a character from the Cat in the Hat book. Of course I had to top it off with white pumps and a big white bow in the hair! Gross!!

I had a 1973 Toyota Corolla SR5, 5 speed manual, dual Mikuni Carbs, Cam, exhaust, and a gear drive! Although it was a 4 cylinder, it sounded like a V8, especially with the gear drive! Porsche Red, flares, and dropped to the ground. That was one awesome car, plus it ran 13 second quarter miles at the track!
