I wouldn't spend too much money until you get rid of the lowlife losers in that area first.

As a cultural icon, Club Hubba Hubba deserves to be nominated to the National Register of Historic Places, and the State Register of Historic Places.

When I lived in Honolulu and I used to go down to Chinatown to shop I used to enjoy walking down Hotel Street just to walk past the Club Hubba Hubba and look at the sexy pictures of the babes on the walls ! Especially that babe who was dressed like an Indian ! Wow she was hot !

I've been living in Northern Arizona too long ! I can truely say that I miss Hawaii , especially Honolulu ! Stumpy : If you ever go into Waikiki , you can see the street on lived on , Ohua Ave. right near the Ala Wai Canal , no need for a car like here , just get on the bus and go anywhere on the island ! Good clean air , warm weather and a beach that I would go swimming nearly every other day !

I know where you mean, I just avoid Waikiki and town like the plague.

I remember when Hubba Hubba had a performer who used her props (carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes and lettuce) to demonstrate her dexterity and agility and fine pelvic muscle coordination - only to conclude her performance slicing and dicing her props to make some lucky guy a fresh tossed salad.

You haven't lived until you've seen her shoot ping=pong balls across the room.

You just jump on a subject with no clue of what you are talking about and claim it is all false without even knowing the full merits of the debate. Let me guess you are one of those lefty loon followers that do as you are told. That being if confronted with a debate just spout gibberish call the race card or conspiracy card or the crazy card..all without EVER actually talking about the topic as you can't and if did would lose. that is why it is in your sheep god handbook.

I am looking for anyone who remembers the golden years of Club Hubba Hubba, around the 1950's. There were some big name burlesque acts that came through, Lili St. Cyr & Tempest Storm!

There were alot of other local performers like Prince Hanalei and several others who worked at The Glades and other places...anyone remember them?

I'm also hoping to find people who can share information or memories on the Beretania Follies live stage shows at the Beretania Theater (which no longer exists.)

I'm researching Hawaii's burlesque and stage show history, would love to be able to help preserve memories to all of the performers and musicians no longer pounding the Chinatown pavement.

Mahalo Nui Loa!
