Amd what about the fans? By the time the Fresno game arrives on the calendar, it will have been five weeks since the first game with one of the three road trips a truly awful watching experience - jerky transmission and the worst case of "Homerism" I've ever heard from a broadcast team - while the second broadcat in Las Vegas forced thousands of UH fans to watch the game in sports bars.

Anyhow, I agree with you that road trips should be better planned. I assume that this year's schedule came from Herman Frazier(sp) since non-conference games are scheduled years in advance.

Frazier booked Washington State and UNLV. The LaTech trip and Wednesday appearance was courtesy of the WAC and its contract with ESPN.

The only people who are happy about this current roadtrip schedule are the Flea market vendors. As a UHM football fan I quit watching when the price of PPV is $65.00 per game, and the quality of the picture makes you squint to see. Whats up with that? I mean please these braodcast tech guys have got their nerve.. The moonlanding in the 60's was clearer.

I think UH should call timeout period on their program. How frustrating it must be for the Bow fans to watch upstart Boise come in and dominate almost every year.
With true soph Kellen Moore, this year will be no different. And uhoh! Boise has a D!
And Frez played Boise tough, double trouble for the islanders this year.
Aloha my fellow WAC fans!

Go Broncs!!!!!!!!!!

At least Boise contributes when they make the BCS bowls. The Bows need to buck up a bit.

BTW, this is the first Hawaii thread that I haven't seen Breakin' Wind soil.:)

What kind of Boise fan are you? Moore is a redshirt sophomore. Freso could be a real solid team if they had a D. How do you lose a game when you out gain and hold the ball for 46 minutes?

I agree the away game broadcast have been horrible. I am fortunate enough as a season ticket holder to have obtained the $99 away package Oceanic offered me. I put the blame solidly on Oceanic Time Warner Cable that they too damn cheap to buy and then transmit the HD picture that IS available. Auwe Oceanic, voice you displeasure with this folks. Oceanic will have some lame excuse but let em know we are dissapointed, I did

The truth is Boise struggles everytime they visit Aloha Stadium. They have LOST the last TWO visits to the islands. The Warriors beating them soundly in 2007 & East Carolina busted em up in the Hawai'i Bowl the same year. Be careful with the boastful comments killa, the Warriors WILL be ready

Really? Everytime? Dec 6, 2003.
Boise State 45
Hawaii 28
A 17 point win is a struggle?

OK, check the WAC record between UH and BSU: 7 wins BSU 1 win UH.(BSU is 3-1 in Hawaii)
Add another BSU win for 2009.

I guess all those struggles don't appear in the final tally udner something else.

btw, mentioning the Aloha Bowl game played against East Carolina makes it a neutral field game for both teams.

Howzit buger. I was wondering if you got paid for doing that State Farm commercial with motormouth. That blue cheerleader outfit was the perfect color in your mutual support for the Broncos, blue!
Now your new commercial, you and motormouth tossed the outfits. It ain't funny anymore. Put those back on for the third commercial. By then BSU will be in town and we can show both of you on the Sony Jumbotron. lol.
