John Streeter is the Bar Manager there. I have never in my life dealt with a more irresponsible restaurant staff member in my life. Does not return calls, does not show up when he is supposed to and is obviously not fit to work there. I spoke to another manager there who also was very rude. This place will probably fail from the inside out and I will not be suprised when it does. The boss needs to fire this incompetant staff.

That is totally out of line. John Streeter is one of the nicest people working at the restaurant. We enjoy going there especially when he's working. All of the staff have been very polite to us and acted accordingly. We have not encountered ANYONE who is rude. Maybe it's YOUR behavior that is at fault.

Sounds to me that maybe he cut you off, which is his job, and now you're saying nasty things online.

Stay in Coatesville. I hear the bars are really "high class" around there.

I frequent the restaurant and I have always had a wonderful time. The Clubroom bar is like a restaurant in a restaurant. Down in the horseshoe pub is a great place to hang out. I went on a wednesday night to the bar and wow!$5.00 all you can eat wings! I heard the all u can eat pasta night is something to try. On Friday's They give out free pit beef sandwiches. I think the Bistro is doing a great job.

Starting next week, the restaurant and sports bar will be selling AYCE crab legs! We LOVE them! I think it's on Tuesday nights. We've been enjoying the patio out back. So nice once the sun goes down.

We stopped there yesterday and found out they're serving a steak, vegetable, baked potato and a beer for only $14.95. What a great deal! They're going to reopen on Monday nights in September.

Has anyone been there for the Thursday night "Down Home" cooking night? I was thinking of going but have never been there before. It sounds good but some of the comments are making me a bit hesitant to go!
Thanks!

Definitely go on Thursday night-but you better get there early. The ribs are falling off the bone tender and you get a ton of food! Its been quite busy when I have gone and if you go too late, you risk the restaurant running out of ribs from all the "big eaters"!

Has anybody been there lately? New menu, different foods and prices. Monday and Wednesday nights are their wing nights for only 25 cents a piece and the wings are bigger than other places around here. Tuesday is all you can eat snow crab legs. They have great specials going on during the week. If you haven't been there yet, or been there before, make sure you stop in to check it out. I am always telling people about it because it's close to home for us and we love going there and want the place to be successful and stay open.

There's also an all you can eat pasta night on Wednesday and Thursday is Down Home Cooking night. There's a really cool sports bar on the lower level. The upstairs staff doesn't seem to mention it that often to customers, but it's there. Entertainment Tues through Sat nights.

The place is filled with the low lifes of Honeybrook. These punks start trouble and ruin it for everyone else. Just ask what happened at 2am on Oct. 31st, 2009??? Bunch of uneducated loser punks! Its too bad cause its a great place to eat and watch sports.

I was there on Halloween and it was a great fun crowd and not just "Low lifes" like you suggest. Don't let one bad apple spoil the whole bunch! I heard about the jerk that caused so much trouble. He is banned from entering the bar from here on out according to the management there. They don't need his business!

We were there on Halloween too and had such a BLAST! The place is NOT filled with low lifes and all the people are fun to be around. The place offers such great specials all the time too.

The Bistro on 10 is having a Thanksgiving Buffet on Thanksgiving Day for those of you who don't want to be bothered making a huge dinner/dishes. I'm sure that the food will be delicious.

They're sponsoring a food drive for the Salvation Army November 18th. Get some groceries and drop them off to help out our fellow neighbors. I think the place is terrific. Can't say enough good things about it.

Question for Honey Brook Resident - will the Bistro on 10 be offering gift certificates at a 50% discount again this Christmas?

I don't know.....haven't heard anything about it while we were there for dinner. They have a website - www.waynebrookinn.com . There are links to the Bistro and Horseshoe Pub there too.

According to the staff I've asked about the 50% off gift cards on Black Friday was a Grady David's/Dave MacGrogan thing so the answer is unfortunately no.
