Great. The Waynebrook is a beautiful building with a great history in one of the oldest counties in Pennsylvania. A welcome event.

The opening is set on Sept. 17, and I heard some pretty awsome news about the downstairs sports bar, but I wont tell you now you gotta come check it out.

I was hoping it was going to open over Labor Day but it's nice to have a definate date instead of the "coming soon" signs that they have posted. I can't wait! We really need this restaurant!

This is so needed! Finally a nice place to eat and drink within walking distance. This borough needs more restaurants and bars and shops..hope this is only the beginning!

I am a hostess at the resturant, and I am so excited for it's opening.
Come out and help support us, everyone.

Worked at the old Waynebrook Inn when it was open over 20 years ago. Was a fabulous place then (don't know why Mr. Frame closed it)! They did have somewhat of a culture clash when they tried to have a pub downstairs w/ fine dining upstairs. Hard to keep out the 'rif raf'. Hope they can pull it off. Locally, from Parkesburg, Gap, Christiana West - North to Honey Brook and Morgantown, there is absolutely nothing around!(except Emily's in Mohnton) Hope this place does well. It's long overdue.

I went past last night (9/13) at around 7:30 and it was open. All 3 parking lots were full with people driving around looking for a place to park. We will check it out once the "newness" wears off.
This should be a nice place, the price should keep the local drunks out.

I was up in HB over the weekend. the old Waynbrook was only open last week for a "trial run" where all the employees were the customers. I was told they will open on Monday.

With a sports bar I'm hoping (and assuming) they are open Sunday's. My boys (err not Cowboys) and I are going to try to catch the Eagles today there. Anyone know for sure? It's hard enough to get friends out here without having to fallback to the Maple Inn (ugh). With fingers crossed...

Anybody know if the whole place is No Smoking?

Just smoking in the lower level. No smell upstairs. We had reservations Saturday night. Beautiful atmosphere.Good servers. However, horrible and over priced food. Too bad. Met with the owner "Dave" who took the frozen ribeye off the bill. Later ran into people who had the same issue with their food as well. Sorry, won't go back, especially now that the old MOHO patrons have a new watering whole. Lots of parking for your Harley Davidsons though.

We had reservations on 9/22. The sevrice was very slow. We loved our waitress. Very personable. The Lobster Sheperds Pie, only had about 4-5 bite sized pieces of lobster on a mound of mashed potoatos. It was not worth the price. We tried to check out the bar but it was a pretty young crowd mixed with alot of Maple Inners. Too crowded for us. I would go back but they have alot of kinks to work out.

They did a really nice job renovating that place. The servers do this weird thing where they always touch your shoulder when they talk to you. Obviously something they learned in training, since about 5 people did that to me in one night. I just think this is a little strange? Food is ok but not great. I feel the same about the food at Kildaires and Doc Magrogans...ok but not great. I hope they bring in good bands that attract a young new crowd and not the Peddler/Maple Inn crowds. Sorry if I offend anyone, but it would be nice if the regular weekend crowd aren't a bunch of hill billys with Nascar shirts on.

No offense taken here, I don't want to eat in a place with Nascar disciples.
Do they have a website? I have searched the web for one and couldn't find.
Also is it safe to take the kids, there for dinner?

Visited last night in hopes to have an enjoyable birthday day dinner with family -- was totally disappointed from the beginning! We were seated "elbow to elbow" at a long table -- facing the dining room and bar area -- when asked if table could be changed, was informed that the other open booths were "reserved" -- funny, but we had made a "reservation" also?? After a brief confrontation with the an employee who appeared to be the "managing partner", who informed our party that he was about to get "beat up" -- by who me?-- I wouldn't have wasted the energy -- we were moved to another booth! If we hadn't had a gift card/gift certificate, we'd have left at that point!!!! The atmosphere was OK, but very noisy. Food is another story -- it left quite a bit to be desired as it was over-priced and not all that good -- wasn't much taste and dishes were "skimpy"! Won't be going back!!!
