My prayers to him and his family, I remember when the power went out i told my wife a geesh soemone hit a utility pole. Sad that it has become a regular incident in that intersection and the intersection at Corby.

Sad that it has become a regular incident in that intersection and the intersection at Corby. It’s not a regular thing. I was driving north on 15a that day and he passed me dong at least 75 I believe that this accident had nothing to do with the road but all about the driver.

Granted he was speeding but you can not deny there are Fatalities on the intersection on Corby or at the traffic light. The house at the corner has been trying to sell many times maybe, it's price but 17 years in this area I can count many times of accidents. Not all are killed. I am curious to see what the toxicalogy report says. I can't understand why someone would try and make that turn at a high speed.

I believe chris fell asleep at the wheel. He had esophogus cancer a few years ago and was in remission. the pain was still severe and the doctors had him on heavy pain meds. he had trouble sleeping from them. It was just a terrible accident.

Hi Debie. Its ironic that I happened to stumble on this website while searching for something else. I was a witness to this accident and actually called it in to 911. As it turns out, my boyfriend went to high school with him. He did not fall asleep at the wheel, I was looking right at him seconds before the crash. My boyfriend and I were going down 15A and he was behind us. when the road veered to the right (where Chris turned) our vehicles were side by side for a brief moment (we were going straight). Oncehis car became out of sight we heard the crash, turned right at the light by Honeoye Falls #6 road and saw his car upside down. I called 911 as my boyfriend went to the car. Other people came to offer help. We waited until the paramedics arrived and everthing got so chaotic and so many people were there that we left. We felt like if we stayed we would be in the way. I never knew Chris, but I have thought about this incident so many times and was very upset. You know how it is, always thinking of the "what ifs". My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.

I knew Chris very well and he may have driven fast but everyone has their naughty qualities. The news of his death killed his mother, so if there is nothing nice that can be said of him, lets not say anything at all. God Bless.
