irwin, you don't know the story, why are you jumping to conclusions? First off, no names were used for the protection of identity. First amendment, right to privacy. Second, i personally know the family, it isn't the scam you think it is. All that's wanted is for justice to be served, and for the coach to get what they deserve. Third, hondo won't do anything about it because of budget cuts. The poor ass school can't afford to fire any one. They are already short on a damn English teacher, and have to share their librarian with mcdowell's. That's the problem, they choose not to do the right thing because it costs them, not only money but looks bad on hhs "rep." Worthless, is what they are.

Take it to Dept of Ed in Austin and be sure they know you tried to do this via the chain of command and got nowhere. And be sure you tell them your next stop will be the media. Screw the cutbacks, that's their problem and a problem they created when they hired this type of educator.

I dont remember his name but i remember what he looks like hes about 5 9 weighs about 180 Hispanic about 39 or 40 years old. This son of a bitch would pull her hair stand in front of her when she wanted to leave and knock the books out of her hands to get her attention it was so bad that she came home crying one day thats when we went to the school. No child should have to live in fear of people who should be not only teachers, but protectors. There should never be any question about the safety and security of a child in an educational setting. If the State is going to mandate a child of a certain age has to go to school, and that a parent is going to be held responsible for getting that child to school on penalty of being accountable to the State for not complying, then by God protect the child from what your child experienced. And if the State won't hold this person accountable, then don't get in our way when we do.

I totally agree. School adminstrators are so eager to judge parents for disciplining and setting boundries for their children, sometimes thinking this treatment is too harsh or a form of abuse. But when a parent disciplines, it's because they love their children and don't want them to grow up wrong. Then one of their own does worse to a child and they look the other way??? I wouldn't just get rid of the coach, but those who had anything to do with ignoring the complaints. Please parents of this child, don't let it go any longer; take it further up if you have to. Do it for your child to show her you care and will always be there.

Don't cost a thing to get something started. Or your school officials can get caught up in on this person's criminal activity. Let's see how much of "public servant" service they understand?
