Calling someone a gangmember is placing a label on minorities? You must have missed that I said there are white gangmembers in Chicago, I said black/hispanic make up the majority. Why were the girls who beat up the one girl not labeled gangmembers? Well, does that group of girls belong to an organized gang? Does this gang have colors, a manifesto and laws? do they have an organzational hierarchy and collect dues on a monthly basis? Does this group of girls sole source of income come from illegal activities? No to all of thee above, they are not gangmembers that why they are not called gangmembers. The girls were just as organized, they had two male "enforcers" who acted as lookouts. Another girl was told to keep her from leaving, another was the videographer. I have lived in several of the areas mentioned where victims were shot. And, none of that mess occurred when I was living in Chicago. The younger generations just have no damn home training. Most of the people I grew up with had children at ages 13-16, are now grandparents. And, I am just 47 y.o. I can't even begin to imagine. They were all using drugs and drinking, and are all washed up. The kids they produced have grown up as stone thugs now. What a pitiful shame. I am so glad not to be there anymore. If I were to move back to Chicago, it would have to be along the magnificent mile where decency will always prevail. The old money is not letting the bull sh-- move in down there.
