I know you're out there. There's alot of people here who want to dialogue with you. Some will be nice, some......maybe not but...
We all need to talk...Dont you think so Mayor?

Why? Why not?? Why are you the best man in office? The people have spoken...Where are they? Can they talk to us too? I mean...Isn't "Democracy" and the 1st amendment based upon discussion, expression and debate and then..........Working together?

I didn't yet....Did you talk it over with any other Harvey Daze peeps. I'd like to try for next year's Harvey Daze, as I can't make it to this years. In this way, also, we can draw a crowd and get some media taping.

Let me see who I can't find who would be willing to take that step. Of course, if no one is willing, I would be more than happy to take this on myself, but having "back up" is always a good thing. I had called and also written "Eric" several times, with no answer from him, so that should tell you the type of person he is. But then again, I'm a firm beliver in everyone the benefit of doubt.

I'm not concerned with the pool...it would be great to have it back, but let's start with something big....like getting the gangs off the street corners, getting the trash off the streets in Harvey, restoring the downtown area.

I agree about the punk thugs, but it will be complex to find who owns those approx 60 "blank & empty" spaces on 154th street. 1st....I think some citizens should write the mayor & see what happened to the "cameras" that were supposed to be placed downtown. Traffic cameras will help deter thug flow. Corruption in the police dept. will have to be depleted by citizens "watching" the police...and reporting suspicious activity to the state police. Have any citizens you know ever e-mailed the state police post about these corrupt police?

He probably has those cameras installed at his home plus his family. Eric is in this for self. He will take as much as Harvey let him. His so-called A New Harvey Rising theme has went down the drain. The only thing risin in Harvey is crime and drug profits. This dude knows exactly what is going on and what he needs to do to clean his town up but this would take whatever cut he gets from the dope boys. Of course he never touches it himself because he has his croonies get there hands dirty first that way if he goes they all go. But they are to stupid to see what can happen if they get busted. He will get away with the same crap he did with the officer who gave back that gun. Everyone who knows how Eric operates know that he told this dude to give the gun back. The officer didn't even know the crumb he gave it to, Eric did. I don't know what the feds are doing, I'm sure they have enough to at least get this fool indicted that way he would have to resign. The only way this guy will listen is if as many citizens march down to city hall and demand to meet, no time limit, clear your calender and listen. We all know this would take some doin looking at how the residents refuse to get things done themselves. They must bee happy the way things are.

Where is your Mayor Eric? Your mayor of Harvey. Living in Flossmore, Homewood,Olympia Fields etc. He is not here in is town he is just here stilling our money. Charging us large amounts of money to pay him and his staff. The taxes I pay in HARVEY some residents in Homewood, Fields and even orland pay and get more for the money. How can he run a town when he is to busy running behind skirts.

I don't know the Mayor and haven't ever said anything negative, but like I said in another post, he seems to have trouble follow him around constantly and doesn't seem to clean up the town. In business, you should show a profit within three years to be called successful and on a normal track. 5 years tops. So........like I asked him....What's wrong? Hopefully, he'll be talking to us. Where's that Harvey Pride?

Eric, doesn't read this board. In regards to his friends getting him, he doesn't have any friends....just cronies! Let Eric tell it, he has cleaned up Harvey completely! He's torn down drug-infested condemned buildings. Downtown Harvey is receiving a Renaissance. Let's not even start on that stagnant Dixie Square project. What's going on with that? What happend to the developer...who got all that land for peanuts?

Someone mentioned the church....and starting community groups and such. The chaplains aren't going to do anything. Many of them, have known Eric since he was a child and they are on his team and believes in him. Not to mention, he has put them as community chaplains and named streets after a couple of them. Right there in his pocket!

You are 100 percent corrupt with everything. He even have family members getting a cut and saling drugs. I think and hope the feds are building a solid case against Eric and he will be indicted soon.

True the city was in a much better state with Graves in place. Don't know if he would come back. Some parts of Harvey remind me of the Carter and Kellogg as Nino Brown.

You are 100% right. Graves would talk to you without an apointment or being looked at like a crumb from his punk azz body guards like with Kellogg. Graves didn't need all the body guard, fancy suit type of atmosphere, he would walk the streets of Harvey by himself. Kellogg won't make it for another term, he will be arrested by the feds soon. But dang they take too long, hurry up and get his crooked butt out so Harvey car repair. And don't replace him with Brenda Thompson cause she represents the same thing as Kellogg did.
