I'm surprised that the offender wasn't wearing a Markham police uniform!

"contacted Dyer Police at 9:55 a.m. with reports of a suspicious black male"
That part of the story should be no surprise since "black males" do about 75% of the crime, yet are only about 7% of the population. But you'll never hear that from the liberal media!
Next thing you will hear from the retarded liberal media is how the white Dyer police officers will be called, oh horror of horrors, RACIST because they profiled this poor innocent victim of discrimination (I'd bet the farm he has a long rap sheet) who was only minding his own business!
Wake Up White America!
