Man killed outside Glenwood eatery

Police are investigating the shooting death of a Homewood man shot outside a gyros restaurant near a Glenwood shopping center.

I am really concerned about the location of the shooting. Lots of kids from James Hart and Millennium Schools are in that area after school hours. They like to hang out at Wendy's and Culvers after school hours. The shooting occurred a little more than a half-hour after dismissal time at Millennium. Parents need some specific information about the shooting. It is pretty alarming to have that kind of violence close to a school and to potentially have children in harms way.
