I saw the list - it is amazing that one company supplies so many "brands" - what a riot

When U check for food lists on companies like Iams you get bumped to their site where there is NO list...... the food suppliers better get on board with information and SOON!

"The recall covers the company's "cuts and gravy" style food, which consists of chunks of meat in gravy..."

The "chunks of meat" they are talking about consists of the waste meat that food manufacturers deem unfit for humans.

That is the only "meat" that goes into your pets food.

Perhaps some pet owners will take this opportunity to research exactly what they have been feeding their dogs.

Frankly, the food you throw in the garbage is healthier for your dog than what you get in an Alpo can.

I WAS UNDER THE IMPRESSION THAT I WOULD FIND A LISTING OF ALL THE INVOLVED BRANDSALONG WITH SERIAL NUMBERS ETC; IN OTHER WORDS, MORE DETAILS.

INSTEAD, I CLICK ON AND FIND A REPEAT/REPRINT OF THE STORY THAT I JUST READ IN THE ACTUAL PAPER. I DIDN'T LEARN ANYTHING NEW.

WHAT A WASTE OF MY TIME

LUCKILY, I BUY DOG FOOD AND NON-PERISHABLE GROCERY ITEMS MONTHS AHEAD OF NEED. SINCE THE BUSH REGIME IS NOT ENFORCING REGULATIONS ON ANY INDUSTRY---FOOD,DRUGS ETC., IT IS A WAY TO PLAY IT SAFE!

I only want to know if something happens to any pet that this food has hurt will the company help pay for the medical bills.

My cat is precious to me. Thank the lord I didn't give my cat any of these products.

Question: is there a fda stamp of approval for pet food. Or are pet food companies not held that high in regard.

Buyer Beware ! America buys Bush's war, Poison petfood, and from Wal-Mart. Clearly Americans do not buy wisely.

If you click on this link, you should be able to pull up the whole list - I went to the Iams site & looked under recall & they list all the barcodes & types of food. Unfortunately I have been feeding my doggie some of the recalled food. Dont' know what to do now as she is showing no symptons. by the way, I bought the canned dog food at Pathmark & they are still selling the recalled product

Don't know if this is a coincidence, but I purchased Dinner Rounds for my dog a few weeks ago, started giving it to her and then realized that not only did they not look right, but they stunk!Big time sour! Called the 800# on the bag, they sent a coupon for another - the 2nd bad was also bad. Called them again, this time they just sent a check for the cost. She did ask me if I bought it in Walmart, but I got it in King Kullen. Now everything will have to be checked!
