I bet some criminal charges would make these kids wise up...

SOme civil lawsuits would work too, but parents will probably sue the school district, and not the kids that did the product tampering.

Yeah.. I just wanted to say that I go to this school and it really sucks. I've been stuck in the same period for like 2 hours.

I think each student has a multi million dollar LAWSUIT against the school district for allowing unsupervised and dangerous food being brought into the building and distributed.

Call for the lawyers.

Sue! Sue! Sue! Total neglignce here on part of the school.

Seems like the same story of how "kids" think this is funny and harmless. Same with the fence breakers. We need to have civic and decency taught in the schools, just like math and reading. It should be part of the curriculum taught in middle and high schools. These pranks and acts of vandalism are not fun, and they need to know the repercussions and penalty for engaging in those kind of behavior. Making them do cleaning, yard work, or other type of duties in the school where the other kids can see the wisdom of such acts may be a deterent to others. If that fails, then the parents and kid should be criminally and civily held accountable.

LOL!! We used to do this when I was in school!!(a looong time ago). Geeez, nobody called ambulances! You just sat on the can for awhile! And I won't even go there, when someone brings up the cops and donuts routine. You just KNOW that's coming!!

Having police and ambulances respond to this seems like a little overboard. Kids are so sheltered these days. Its a laxative. No permanent harm done.

boy, does this bring back memories! used to work in an office where everyone would throw in a buck a week for donuts at coffee break on fri. of course, there's always one guy too cheap to kick in and would go in the break room after everyone else went back to work and woof down whatever was left. you just know what we had to stuff inside the remaining donuts one day!! never saw the cheap bastid rest of the day...he couldn't even make it home in his car!!!

Teens and college students have been playing this kind of prank for years. With some of the sicko things we see going on these days, this stunt seems very mild. Oh, to be a kid again!

It might sound funny to some of you, but what if a victim had have been on medication that had dangerous or even fatal interactions with the laxatives? Giving someone over the counter medication without their knowledge is the same as lacing someone's food with illegal drugs. These kids should be kicked out of school and sentenced to community service.

I find it ridiculous that MTV is to blame for these kids putting Ex-Lax in the doughnuts. There always has to be someone or something to blame.

Where are the parents to instill ethics, values and morals into these children?

It's TV's fault that kids are mean and evil? No its not....TV is responsible for how you are raised. Your Parents are!

PLEASE DON'T BE TOO HARSH ON THESE STUDENTS.
THEY DON'T DESERVE TO BE PUNISHED LIKE REAL
CRIMINALS OVER AT ROSLYN.
X-LAX AT SCHOOLS IN 60'S AND 70'S WAS A LEARNING EXPERIENCE AND NOBODY GOT HURT.
