Where were the Guardian Angels then? Newsday? News12?
It seems she was struck and killed by accident by a man in a hummer that was backing up. perhaps it is two different stories i am confusing.

This is perhaps the stupidest comment to EVER appear on these pages. Someone is living in an alternate universe!
Some facts which the rag neglected to mention:
-the speed limit there is 30 mph
-there is indeed a stop sign a block away, although it should not be
- the car was so damaged that the occupant had to be cut out of the vehicle
- a police helicopter was dispatched to evacuate the jerk before anyone assessed his condition...cost to taxpayers one thousand dollars plus thank you so much
- the helicopter was not needed and wasted all the time and gas for nothing
- the nearest appropriate landing site was not even considered
- at least two ambulances were dispatched to the scene tying up personnel and equipment
The trees in that area are not even close to the road. Thank God he killed only himself.
did you know it was christmas eve and he was going to pick up his girlfriend you f*ckin doucher "thank god he killed himself" you arent even from the area so shut the hell up

Sarah dear, remember to keep your eyes on the road ahead, your hands on the wheel & off the cell phone, and your speed in check.
Since you're just catching up now after 8 months, it's obvious that's all we can expect of you.

Who cares what day it was or where he was going? He drove like a moron and paid the price. Hopefully you learn something from it.

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Pisces

It's a great day for fixing anything that needs attention now. That might be a dripping tap, a sick child, an unpaid bill or a miffed partner. However, you'll do particularly well if you need to sort out something connected with official or joint finances or red tape. You might be asked to help someone deal with a bureaucratic problem, especially if they're elderly.
