I can't believe first of all, that National Amusements has the nerve to issue a basic "We're sorry this happened" statement. "The Hills Have Eyes 2" may be good entertainment for some people who know it's fantasy, but these children who were exposed to it will have nightmares for a long time. Please, someone explain to me, what good does giving away free passes do? Every time something bad happens at the movies, they think giving away movie vouchers will solve the problem...maybe a sincere apology is better.
I hope that if the children need counseling, the chain should do the right thing and foot the bill. If it's their mistake, let them make it right!
Com' on Steve. "...if children need counseling..." Have you seen what's availible in the X-box's. The "children" are exposed to much worse that a schlock horror move on TV and in school every day and I doubt they'll need counseling. Their parents might if a lot of them knew what little Billy is really watching in his room. I just don't see what all the fuss is about. The very parents voted for Bush and look what he's doing and what he unleashed on the world. You get what you pay for.

Big deal. Any parent that makes an issue of this needs to seriously revaluate their lives. With all the horrific stories and issues in the world, 15 minutes of a flick like this is devestating to the children? Get over it. These kids are so babie'd nowadays. How about this, cover their eyes or leave the theatre. Any parent that allows them to watch this entire scene for the full 15 minutes deserves it. Stop being a blame someone else mentalilty country and take responsibility for yourselves and your family. This country is weakening from adults, grow up, and stop being wussies. Take your damn movie voucher and move on. If you are thinking about a lawsuit then you are just looking for something for nothing. No respect for people who wish to get rich off of frivelous lawsuits, try working hard for a living wimps. By the way, yes I have 4 young kids, and I did happen to go to that same theatre Friday.

this is ridiculous, get over it. Most kids see more violence in their homes everyday than in a movie. Learn how to be a parent and stop blaming everyone else for how your bastard children turn out.
Thank you Mike. You took the words right out of my mouth.

nothing but a setup to a lawsuit! This happens, and will happen, get over it. Let's see if some local congressman is gonna want to score extra points by asking for a law to prevent showings of R rated and G rated in the same theater.

I left there a couple of years ago because they have no morals or standards when it comes to children's entertainment.

This is BS they accidentally loaded the wrong film.

The managers there only care about one thing,$$$!
