The Suffolk County SPCA is an organization of 'good deed-doers'. All members of this special group of people, from Chief Roy Gross to Shari, the lady who manages the SPCA central office, and everyone in between, deserve plaudits and recognition. The SCSPCA is strictly a Suffolk County organization, with no formal ties to the national ASPCA or to the SPCA in Nassau County.
In my estimation, Suffolk County could provide more material and financial support than it does currently. The media could lend more support in proactively publicizing the group and its activities. And, members of the public could take a greater interest by just being more informed about the needs of pets and what is happening to the animals around them.

I wonder why she kept denying the ASPCA the right to take the dogs. Wonder if she thought she would be incriminating herself? ASPCA could have offered her a deal to get the dogs sooner.

I demand that the federal government get involved in this matter, just as it did in the Vicks case. THIS WOMAN USED THE INTERNET TO GET CUSTOMERS TO BUY DOGS FROM HER, THAT VIOLATES THE INTERSTATE COMMERCE CLAUSE. Of course the feds are not going to intervene because the woman is white and Vick is,well you know.

Hope this worthless POS rots in hell - but even that's too good for her. If she doesn't serve serious time our legal system needs to get its' butt kicked.

Absolutely disgusting. Maybe someone should put her in a cage, leave no water, unopened cans of food on top of the cage with worms crawling in and out of her body.
What kind of person does this? There should be laws out there protecting animals. If it had been two people, she'd be locked up for a long time.
When you get to St. Peter, he's turning you away.
Good luck.

If I only had room...<sigh>
All I'm going to say is, the right people are going to get two of the most loyal and grateful pets they will ever know as a result of this. Mark my words. And hope they check back onto this forum to let us all know how those beautiful dogs are doing.

I agree, Suffolk County needs to do more to help the SCSPCA ... especially in regards to their law enforcement division. Did you know that the state recently took away their peace officer status and the right to carry firearms thus making their job more difficult?

I think its great that they actually strive to help these animals and go after those who abuse them unlike in Puerto Shithole Rico where the so called "police" and "animal 'rescue' foundation" round up dogs and cats and throw them off cliffs, inject them with poison, etc.
