And who CARES about his past, don't make assumptions, you don't know the whole story or him, so who do you think you are??!!! He didn't steal the car or take the kid, the mother was just covering her own butt, so she called the pd on him. He was trying to take his kid to a better situation! Ron was a GREAT person and father, he didn't want his son to get killed so he tried to get him out of there. He will be GREATLY missed by everyone that knew him!!! RIP!!!

wink, wink - nudge, nudge... I hear ya!

Why do all of you keep saying he stalled out in the middle lane? When it's known he crashed Into the center divider then ended up in the middle lane?

Then he failed to follow a basic rule you learn as a child. You ALWAYS look both ways before crossing. that would have been too difficult for Dorsa. In his case he only had to look one way.... And failed even going that. Life saving father? Wink, wink- nudge, nudge...

You win, he was awesome!

Listen, I know exactly what you are tryint to do, dont bother, these people have already proved they are insensitive, ignorant people with nothing better to do but bash a human being that was killed, unless they really knew Ronnie or the situation then they would have the right to say something, they are getting off on Ronnie's friends and people that knew him! they wait for us to defend him so they have reason to come back at us and ronnie! So just ignore these dirtbags.

You all are a**holes- except lisaanne. I was Ronnie'a girlfriend in our younger years for 3 years and he was a funny, clever man with a bright future. How dare you make assumptions about someone you dont know. You make me sick. I seriously hope ill on your families. Keep the focus on yourself. We are all greiving here-how dare you make up a forum to talk shit about the deceased. And FYI- ROnnie HAD a drug problem as a young man- but had since recovered. Focus on your onwn families. You really do make me sick- I can't even write anymore.

Lisaanne...I am in total agreement with you. I also knew Ronnie a long time ago when he was trying to get his life in order when he was just a teenager. And just because someone has a drug problem or any other problem for that matter, does NOT, I repeat, does NOT, make them a bad person. Ronnie had a gentle and kind soul, unlike many people in this world. He cared deeply for those he loved. None of these people know the full story, I don't even know it and don't care what it is. It is tragic that someone so young and full of life was taken from us. It is so sad that his child will not grow up to know his father. I feel for his family and friends. I am so sorry for their loss. I have not seen Ronnie in about 9 years but I know that he was a great young man regardless of what his problems were.

Yes OhWellShitHappens- I was his girlfriend as a younger teenager- and he wasn't a drug addict, since then he did make some bad choices, but had straightened his ife out. And as far as "another genius- I am a college graduate with a paralegal degree and going on to be a lawyer-what are your quaifications, a professional shit talker about people you don't even know? Let the man rest in peace. You don't know him or the whole story-I do , and you are so far from right that it is unbelievable. I ust hope his family doesn't see this. I really have never experienced first hand such malicious people. Let the dead rest. Oh- and get a life.

Wow, a paralegal. I’m impressed. Do well in school, pass the Bar exam and you‘re on your way. Good luck to you.
Do you really know the whole story? If so, tell us why he stole a car.

This was a terrible accident that happened to a nice young man from a nice family.
I'm pretty sure Ronny would have had a bright future had he not fallen victim to the fickle will of fate.
This "Ohwellshithappens" fellow should realize that almost all accidents could have been prevented or may even seem dumb in retrospect.
He should also ask himself why he is so angry... perhaps he fears fate will come for him one day ... speaking ill of a deceased young man he never met may insure that day is soon.

Were any of you with Ronnie on the night that he died? Do you know for a fact that he had used that day? We are all humans and have all made poor choices in our lives that we look back on and regret. We will all be judged in the end. God bless this family and I pray that they never see this web site!

All you people need to get lives and grow the fuck up...What if this was your family member or someone you cared about? And the choices Ronnie made in life has nothing to do with his friends or family failing. So whatever moron said that is very ignorant. I'd like to see how you would deal if someone you loved suffered from a drug addication...or some other kind of DISEASE

"DISEASE"? i see where your going with this.

I for one wouldn't let someone i loved who was suffering from lets just say...cancer just run a muck about town all medicated up in a vehicle (stolen or not). I would see to it that person is cared for in a hospital or other rehabilitation center.

Unless of course your talking about a disease like diabetes... in that case i would do what you did... nothing.

Hey Doogie Howser- you jackass. I am Ronnie's ex-girl from a few years ago- and before you start talking shit- how in the hell do you know he was all medicated??? Were you there? I am still very close with the family and was on the phone with his sister the morning it happenned- I do know the real story-you don't bro-so focus on yourself and let the family and friends grieve in peace, and let the man rest in peace. At one time he was my best friend- a funny, clever, good-looking man with a promising life in front of him. The world is worse off with him not in it. Don't get me wrong-he was no angel- but he had gotten his shit together- and it is a tragedy that he is gone-an unfinished life.
And before you jump all over me-just read my coorespondece's with "OhWellShitHappens" I am a college graduate with a paralegal degree and a diploma with the Bar Association and am going on to law school- so you're not talking to a dirtbag here. Ronnie was a good man, he always took good care of me during the three years we were together, and from what I understand-he was good to his son-hell-he gave up his life to save his son and throw him to safety. I was at the funeral, and there was a line out the door of people who cared about him. He will be greatly missed. So, unless you knew him-stay the f*ck out of it. And before you start pointing your fingers, you better make sure your own hands r clean. And how dare you put that on "HeatherDunne" making her feel bad for not doing anything. She was a friend that I believe hasn't seen him in years, since around the time I broke up with him-so although he was a grown man-and no one should have that put on them- if someone was gonna do something- it wouldn't have been her resposibility.
Get a life and stay out of one you don't even know.

Can you tell us why he stole the car? I’ve asked previously and it appears you’ve elected to avoid the question.
I’m just curious to know what kind of “good” person steals a car and then takes a baby for a late night ride when the baby should be at home in a crib.

Wow, not to be harsh but seriously...how do you get hit by a car on the LIE? That's the one place where you should be trying to be EXTREMELY careful and alert...especially with a baby in your arms! How in gods name do you walk into oncoming traffic?

Well, truth be told, this story is far more tragic than the usual crap people get into arguments on here about. I mean for one, at least the guy had good intentions. Unlike half the kids we read about on here who kill themselves or someone else as a result of drunken/drug induced/ego feeding acts of sheer stupidity.

I mean, this guy didn't flip his SUV 9 times while high on vicodin, get killed while street racing in traffic or get stabbed in a gang fight (even though he was such an angel!) or anything. This is one of the few cases where I actually do feel bad. Even if stupidity was present, at least the intentions were good.

"OhWellShitHappens" to answer your question, he did not "steal" the car, that was a fabrication that got blown out of proportion. He was having a dispute with his baby's mother and took the kid out of a dangerous situation. Any more questions, feel free to ask. One question for you though-why are you so interested in all of this-do you get some sort of sick, morbid pleasure from other people's misfortunes?

Who fabricated the “Suffolk police confirmed they took a report about an unauthorized use of a vehicle” aspect of the story if it was confirmed? What was the dangerous situation? How did he manage to crash a late model car that’s most likely in very good condition? Why did he exit the safety of the car? Rule #1 is to stay in your car. Yes, you may get hit anyway, but better in the car than in the flesh. Why would he expose his son to the risk of death? What caused him to hit the barrier? Was he driving recklessly, or intoxicated?
To answer your question, I’d really not have to hear about these things on a daily basis, but it happens that frequently (most go without media coverage) that I do wonder who’s working people’s heads and why they think it’s okay to put everyone else on the road at risk. Some people do some of the stupidest, life threatening things that it really pisses me off to the point that I wish all the morons could have one day on the road together to kill themselves. I do get pleasure from hearing that someone who put everyone else at risk killed themselves first.
One more question for you. How would you feel if I was in a bad situation/mood/whatever and did a series of dumb things that put you, your family or children at risk and/or actually killed one of them? Don’t bother answering that because I know damn well how you’d feel. We all have schitt to deal with from time to time, but that does not excuse putting innocent people at risk.

You all are so wrong & dont even have a bit of the story straight!!! Ronnie didnt steal the car, Braydon was never in a dangerous situation, & Ronnie wasnt doing drugs either!!!! You all got no freakin clue!!!! Do you know that Bray asks for him all the time? If he was such a bad person & Daddy then why would his child want him & look for him?? The news has blown this story WAY out of the real truth & you know what all that matters is his fam & our son & his friends know the truth!!! Didn't do well in English, did you?

What kind of name is Braydon, anyway? Did you misspell Brandon or something?
