I am thrilled to endorse Steve Levy ... for any position he wishes to pursue. He remains the ONLY elected official who seems to be listening to his constituents (i.e., all the illegal aspects of ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION). I only wish my Nassau County Executive (Suozzi) would have the guts and wherewithall to stand up for what AMERICAN CITIZENS are demanding. Instead, he chooses to do what ever other soft-shell politician is doing -- NOTHING! Actions speak louder than words... and Steve Levy has put his words into actions. God Bless Steve Levy! We need him... and we need other politicians to follow his lead.

Steve Levy has received an out pouring of support from the public when he went head to head with the pro-immigrant(to them illegal aliens are just immigrants) groups and their radical agendas.

He has also been rather fiscally responsible especially for a democrat.

Newsday's attempts along with other left wing pro-illegal alien/immigrant groups to smear Mr. Levy has backfired and has endeared him to hundreds of thousands of Long Islanders.

Steve Levy teaming up with the Suffolk County Sheriff Vincent DeMarco a Conservative, to reduce the number of illegal aliens in our jails and have them deported was an excellent government agenda.

The cost of incarcerating illegal aliens cost billions of dollars a year nation wide for taxpayers.

It's far cheaper to have them deported.

levy took action insofar as the criminal tresspassers go. meanwhile, down in washington d.c., our esteemed politicians are attempting to pass a law with regard to these illegals. hello....we already have laws on the books that are not being enforced. what makes the politicians think adding another law will make things different? maybe we should deport all those politicos who favor amnesty for those millions of lawbreakers.what a bunch of crap!

YESSSSSSSSSS.... This is the ultimate eff you to Jimmy Klurfeld and the Newsday Editorial punks .... where is your beloved Cunningham now, Jimmy Boy? Can't strong arm anyone to support him? How about 19.25% Suozzi? Hah Hah Better do the right thing about apprehending and deporting illegals. Sheriff DeMarco and Steve Levy got it right, have them busted on quality of life offenses, and turn them over to federal authorities for deportation right at the jail! That is exactly how to Git Er Done..... That is good policy. That is how to do it right, and get rid of the dangerous criminal element in the illegal community.

Mr. R Brand,
I am against cross-endorsement of Steve Levy by the Republican Party. Mr. Levy, as I see it, stands four square against all Reublican standards. He is closer to the Liberal initiative than Republican.

Levy supports campaign finance reform, abortion rights, gay rights and yet the Republicans endorsed him anyway. I guess those issues really don't matter to leaders of the Suffolk Republicans.

"It's not OK to stick 60 people into a house that's 900 square feet... This is one official who will not let political correctness trump common sense."

Thank God for Steve Levy. We need about 300 more like him. Forget political parties: vote for good people that will uphold the law and will stand tough against extremists who are advocating anarchy.

First Spota, now Levy.

Why bother with an opposition party?

Harry Withers' idea is that this is supposed to help Republicans? This is the worst type of shameless hucksterism.

Do they forget Levy doing all of those simpering negative ads that ripped the hide out of the GOP? This cross-endorsement is a surrender and we GOP are going to get killed in November. Mark my words.

What's the attraction to Levy anyway? Gee, umm... he hasn't raised taxes... uhhh... and he's tough on immigration.

Wow.

How about a tax cut, Levy? Have the GOP (and the Conservative party for that matter) forgotten the bedrock principle for which we stand? I guess so.

Immigration? Gee, I would look tough too if I parroted existing federal law and I proposed a bunch of unconstitutional statutes designed to rile everybody up.
Hey Levy, how about putting your money where your mouth is? Start fining en masse the employers who hire illegal immigrants county-wide and bringing lawsuits en masse against the federal government to reimburse the county for our social services expenditure to illegal immigrant families? No..... you won't do that-- because then you would upset your puppetmasters in Spitzerland.

Somebody give me an opposition candidate.

God Bless John Bugler. Your wit is sublime and your wisdom unparalleled.
