I've been waiting for someone from Sun City to post. So what do the citizens think about the Gov. pulling Arpaio's funding? These Hispanics have been invading our country too long. I'd love to move to S.City or S.C. West in a few years, but with a Gov and Mayor clearly bending over backwards in regards to illegals, it doesn't look promising at this point. I still find the Governor's reasoning, she's redirecting the money to be used for "wanted" people. What B.S. She wants crimes committed that may have been avoided.

The sleeping giant is waking up, people are realizing that lack of enforcement has allowed this to happen. Many Americans are unhappy with this issue. No matter what the politicians say before election, it will be another story after the election. The people still want enforcement. Mccain wants temporary worker program and I support him as long that he is not trying to do another amnesty. Ship illegals out and allow the ones that respected our laws to enjoy the temporary worker program. Besides the majority came over while Bush refused to enforce our laws.

Really, unless you have acres, a lawn mower is not that tough to use. I mow, my husband mows, when he was laid up and I had an infant and a kindergartener, we hired a retired couple to help us out do a final fall yard clean. And there is a short, steep slope in our yard as well we do.

I could hire my neighbor's daughter for probably $20 if needed.

Unless you are crippled or otherwise seriously disabled, and my husband is technically disabled but is back to his own landscaping, yard work, etc., there is no excuse for not doing your own lawn or hiring illegals to do it for you.

Desert lands near the border are returning to their pristine condition and the wildlife is coming back. Identity theft and car thefts are decreasing. No one showed up on May 1 to march in immigrant rallies.

With illegal immigrants leaving, the state will see huge savings as fewer illegal immigrants use social welfare programs and the cost of arresting, prosecuting, incarcerating and deporting them decreases. Arizona is facing one of the worst budget deficits ever, looming as high as $2 billion in 2009, but the situation may resolve itself.

i agree with you 100%...my youngest daughter is currently dad's helper and learning to use the lawnmower. unfortunately, in my neighborhood, we are one of only two homes that doesn't employ a lawn service. so we are continually confronted with trucks and trailers that park facing the wrong way, blocking the road and driveway, out-of-control leaf blowers. the only complaint that gets me anywhere is sign language that i'm gonna make a phone call, lol.
