Wow I just walked out paying more than $13 for lunch. We're not saying this is the biggest best sandwich ever. It was turkey and Swiss on a hero. I guess they charge extra for lettuce and tomato. Not to mention the sandwich itself was weak. There was literally three slices of cheese on it. That's right three slices on a hero. This is hands-down one of the most expensive delis I've ever been to. Two weeks ago I went in to get breakfast and it was $7.00 for an egg sandwich and coffee. Or how about $2.50 for a muffin. Now I don't mind paying for people to stay alive in this day and age and help support local business, but I can't stand when I feel like I'm getting robbed! If you're going to bang me over the head at least make me feel like I got my moneys worth.

There's egg on your face, but it's not from the sandwich - It's from living in the most expensive place in america. That rats nest building probably pays 10k a year in taxes, no wonder your antibiotic filled / killed 2 years ago turkey was so expensive.

You could be living in Hawaii eating fresh pineapple on the beach for much less money than Patchogue. Even Mastic would be less expensive, and much nicer. Still paying out of you ears + freezing the tiny eggs in your pants though!

Yeah sure schlongisland, mastic might be .....drastic mastic! And Hawaii May certainly be nicer but I highly doubt any part of Hawaii that you might be able to afford /want to live in is comparable to Long Island. Just because a climate may be more hospitable dosent mean better living. And I don't know..... I kind of like the seasonal changes that we get to see

$16.00 lunch for two Heros.... I was so irritated by this that when I got home I weighed the contents out on a scale..33 lbs! This was turkey Swiss lettuce tomato. Un real.... I know boars head is expensive product to carry but at least make it worth it so people don't feel like they're getting cheated..33lbs. I won't bitch anymore about the sandwich but could you at least dust the ancient items you guys have on the shelves. If you say the $16 for lunch pays the employees what the hell are they doing???? They ain't making sure the stores clean that's for sure.

You paid a little for the service, and a lot for your stupidity. Only on LI would someone leave home, wait in line, and pay 5x the price of the ingredients for a simple sandwich. It's not like the idiot behind the counter is a master chef, they're angrily slapping the thing together no better than you could. You could've made 10 better sandwiches if you just went to Path Mark around the corner.
There's a reason delis are only popular on LI, because the people living there are dumb enough to keep them in business. As if the cost of living wasn't high enough already! I'm sure Robinsons sucks, but you suck more.

Schlonzo, isn't it obvious? Anyone who stays on that ruined island and puts up with RIDICULOUS cost of living; the DISGUSTING taxes; horrible quality of life; crooked politicians and nothing but profanity-spewing, rude, thieving neighbors, must be insane- so no use trying to reason with them.
Getting out of that slum was the BEST decision I ever made in my life! I now have freedom; privacy; beauty; and my taxes are measured in hundreds....not tens of thousands of dollars; people are nice and still act like human beings- and i live like a king, on 27 acres [that's twenty-seven].
Yeah, so I earn a third of what I made on LI- but my quality of life is 10X better here.
Anyone who stays there and puts up with that crap is a masochist. Someone who will pay $10K a year to the gov't to live in their own home, and have to apply for permission to put up a fence or a pool, will tolerate anything. What a horrible way to live. I would sooner have shot myself than continued living there...oh, wait...couldn't do that, because if you own a gun there, you're deemed a criminal....or worse- a cop.

Lol is this place still open? When I was younger I worked there with this old guy with white hair , and we did crazy things. This landscaper lived in the same parking lot traded us weed for groceries. We'd get high all day and leave mayo in the sun, then lol while putting it on sandwiches that we'd overcharge for - and pocket the extra! Sounds like that's still going on.

Whenever we got a delivery, we'd sell the boar's head to other delis, then sell the generic cold cuts as boar head!
