Congratulations to the Maries County Sheriff's Department for yet another successful drug bust. Keep up the good work. Eventually these criminals will figure out that our county is not the place for them to be if they want to continue to live this lifestyle. For the sake of our young people and the future of our communities, I hope our new judge will be very tough on drug-related crime. No more Mr. Nice Guy....Put these people away so they can't do any further damage to the world we live in. If we run out of prison space for them, let's build more prisons, which will create all kinds of construction jobs for out of work individuals and then put people back to work being guards at those prisons. I'm tired of these people taking from the world and giving nothing back but trouble.

I agree with throwing the book at drug dealers but you state throwing them in prison and if we overload them just build more prisons....where are the funds going to come from to build another prison? Look at our neighbor state with all of their financial woes and frivilous spending and they're billions in the hole and are now increasing taxes a tremendous amount just to make a dent in their debt. People are moving from IL because of the tax increase...is that what you want for this state? Try re-educating the drug dealers and giving them a chance for a clean, criminal free life. Prison is not always the answer.

you CAN overdose on it because it sedates the breathing center in the brain....your brain forgets to breathe and when you don't breathe your heart and brain are deprived of oxygen and voila you're dead!

Just saying I know who these three people that got busted in Cuba are, and the one has a really really good lawyer and he is really bad into drugs and there is no end to his criminal background he will continue to do the stuff he does and its ridiculous. The name is Spencer Vaughn, he recently hit his mother also and although nobody appreciates it, the destruction of his presence will continue to occur. Sorry for the information but it's true I use to hang out this guy, I repeat there is no stopping him.

why does prison has to look like a dorm , throw up some shacks , put an electric fence around it , then a mean dog run around the , with guards alowed to shoot , no computers, no tv , pink overalls , no work out place . a large % of criminals are re-peats , criminals have more rights , than their victims . let em work a garden

Jammie and all the other meth heads be it users or manufacturers should all rot in hell, just as their teeth do in their mouths. Chris H of Maries County has no remorse for these turds and GOD bless him for that. I hope all these Osage county shit bums would go to Maries county and get caught, Osage county needs to quit being a safe haven for meth heads and learn from Maries county.

It is so sad that Mo has such a drug problem. Hoever, with meth rampant and the economy in a mess, the state legislture decided to get concerned about...STRIP CLUBS!! How weird....
