Lowcountry prosecutor among 27 arrested in raid on poker house

O.K, he sumbitted his resignation. Now what? will his resigantion, like many other state officials, not be subjected to the laws of south carolina-( SECTION 16‑19‑40. Unlawful games and betting)?

A prosecutor cannot in good faith prosecute other for breaking the law when he/she does the same. Also, if the solicitor did not accept his resignation, that says alot about the integrity and character of Solicitor David Pascoe. Maybe the voters in that circuit should be looking for another solicitor. Although the crime/offense is minor, a zero tolerance is the standard which is being set from the top down in our state's government. Governor Sanford would have immediately accepted his resignation knowing that he can no longer be effective as a proescutor.
