How much longer will the paranoid fears of loosing Solomons Island revenues dictate the limitations placed on the quality, beauty, and safety of the state's hwy,(route 4)?

We are so tired - and even more embarrassed - recounting the wasted tax dollars and ludicris failed attempts to design proper ramps and access points for Solomons. The diverse half-baked roadway doodles thrown in over the years look like rejected designs of Dr. Suess.

The comments quoted by so-called elected officials that may be paraphrased as saying,'Gee the former bridge has had problems, so won't a new one be the same?' really give firm public confidence that the sharpest crayons in the box are once more handling the situation.

But it's no more a joke than the multiple messes made at Olivet Rd.,before finally putting the Southern Connector Blvd through those precious wetlands.

My guess is - before it's all done - another traffic circle will somehow be part of the landscape. We can't get enough of them lately.
