Recently bought a vechile from there. Our saleslady was excellent, patient, and really good about answering all our questions. We ended up buying a used vechile from them, and literally less than 48 hours of driving off the lot, the car started to have problems.

We took it back to have one of their service guys check it out. They "didn't know" what was wrong with it, so we took it to another dealership that sold only that make of car. They knew immediately what was wrong... Come to find out the transmission is going, and needs to be fixed as soon as possible.

This of course pissed us off. We spent 5 hours trying to get things situated, and see if Lasco would pick up either half or all of the cost for a new transmission.

During the time that we were waiting for "answers" (aka being jerked around) the saleslady had to go between us and management. The manager never got off his ass to talk to us face to face...

He tried to play the whole... "The car is now registered to you, it's yours, not our problem" Understandable - BUT they didn't reflect the problem in their price.

They are going to fix it, but we still have to pay a lot out of our pocket for it to be fixed.

So, when the time comes to buy another vechile it will definitely not be from Lasco Ford.

I share your frustration with Lasco. Several years ago I had a similar situation with a Ford Vehicle. Lasco "Didn't Know" what was wrong with the car, yet I had received, but lost a recall slip for a transmission sensor of some kind. They tried to "jerk us around" also, but ultimately Ford Corp. got involved and they ended up being forced to do what was right. NOT A GOOD WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS. I ended up passing on a GM discount just to buy a ford from another dealership in Holly the sales and service people are outstanding!!!

I never purchased the car from Lasco. It is a wrong place to purchase used, or even new car. Another place is JAY Chevrolet in Highland on M59 and Hickory Ridge rd.
They will sell you used car for price of new.
They fixed my car 4 times and never was done correct.
I'm only purchasing from Chevrolet Jack Couley in West Bloomfield. I purchased several cars and never have any problems with warranty or any work done by them.

This is TRUE and I would NEVER say it because of fear of a serious lawsuit for defamation. BUT its true, so here you go...This may answer to why they are so shoddy with customer service...

Matt LASCO is the daddys son that has a big hand in running Lasco Ford. He is a Fenton Grad which is the high school that backs upto the dealership. He got busted a few years back for selling excstacy(sp) pills. They took his large boat and some other assets. I think one of his hot rods and maybe even his house in Linden. Put it this way, if you sell enough drugs to buy a large boat, cars etc that is enough to for the normal person to go to prison. I think he got 6 months or less because he is a snitch and didnt do the time he EARNED by his own actions. He decided to cry his way out of it and take everyone down with him. By the way, he wouldnt have lasted ONE SECOND in jail...hes a pretty boy that has had $$ his whole life from Daddy... again, true story or I DEFINATELY wouldnt be typing it!! Just search Genessee County, MI court records...they are there

When I leased my latest F150 I tried Lasco. I leased a new F150 and dropped my old lease off. I received a notice and bill from Ford Credit for a deep 2 ft. long scratch on the hood of my old truck that I know WAS NOT THERE. It was very noticable and I would have had it taken care of before dropping it off. Who knows how long they had it in their lot or what they could have done to it. When I tried to reason with the salesman and Matt Lasco I got nowhere and Matt was a total ASS! The charges were about $175 and they wouldn't even help me with half of it... I've had a couple minor things wrong with the new F150 but I wouldn't dare even take it back there and let them touch it again!! I've heard more and more horror stories about this place...NEVER AGAIN, BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!

Lasco ford - please, where even I will not purchase a bicycle. They should be investigated by loco FBI. They run scam on Craiglist - just call them and they will sell you this same car several times.
Where is the Owner? He do not care about this place?

Isn't it obvious? If the owner truly cared about his reputation, customers, and quality of vechiles he would not be selling lemons.

Before you turn to Lasco, or any other 'questionable''shady' dealership, DO YOUR RESEARCH. Bring your own mechanic, do not use theirs. Or, better yet, go someplace else!

I will not purchase another vehicle from Lasco. Too many issues trying to get one from them and I have heard HORROR stories from fellow co-workers who have used them for service.

This is one sad, strange dealership.

I trust Joseph Pontiac a ton more down the road.

I purchased a vehicle from Lasco Ford and they pushed off a bogus 5yr/100,000 warranty called "AUTOSAVE" on me. The warranty cost me $1393.00 and I was not offered any other type of warranty. When I brought the vehicle in to Lasco due to a check engine light, I was informed that the cylinder head needed to be replaced at a cost of over $4,000.00. Lasco advised me that "AUTOSAVE" which they sold me, would not cover any of the cost??? I contacted Ford Motor Company and they told me that had Lasco offered me a Ford Extended Service Plan all the vehicle issues would be fully covered. Mat Lasco was no help at all, he suggested that I list My vehicle on Craig's List and sell it to some unlucky sucker like they would. I'm sure Mat Lasco gets a good kick-back from AUTOSAVE. I hope Lasco goes out of business. You can file on line complaints with the State Attorney General and the Federal Trade Commission.

Horrible, absolutely horrible service and vehicles. Every time I visit the Flint area I'm amazed they're still in business. It's too bad they prey and take advantage of people to pad their wallets.

On my initial visit for vehicle service I was told by Lasco Ford that AUTOSAVE was not going to cover any of the cost of repairs. I was contacted the following day & advised that AUTOSAVE was now going to cover the cost of the repair that they deemed needed.
The vehicle is now running good.

Thanks for the change of heart.

Daily Horoscope for November 26

Gemini

Your eleventh house of friends and associates is activated by the Moon in Aries and it's time to go out and play with your friends. Even the Twins, who have been somewhat reclusive lately, will benefit from socializing tonight. A sense of relief will take hold when you realize that no one really has a better life than you. Sure, it might seem like someone else has a more glamorous existence, but if you could be a fly on the wall in their bedroom, you'd find they have nightmares, too!
