Casino in Milford?

Does anyone know if Foxwoods is still trying to build a casino in Milford? I hope not. The CT resort is poorly managed and they are billions in debt. Talk about desperate. They are trying to recover their losses by alleging that free slot play scams were committed when the free slot coupon has no monetary value to begin with. How can there be an allegation any amount of money was stolen? The theft charges are contrived to recover on a loss claim filed by the casino. When those two guys from New York entered pins on the slot machines to obtain the no cash value slot play, if anything, it amounted to computer theft by means of access. The coupon has no value. How can they say a third guy received half the money? Do we really want Foxwoods to build in Milford? Isn't there any other group willing to consider Milford?

My family members are lifelong residents of Milford. I was also born here.
I am oppose to Foxwoods Casino building a casino anywhere in MA let alone in Milford. Foxwoods has a mounting debt in CT and why would we want Scott Butera's poor management skills to come to Milford? Why? Because he is now hiding behind Donald Trump to help save his job at Foxwoods? And what about the trumped up charges of an alleged slot scam? Most casinos put a disclaimer on the slot coupon that they are not liable if the slot coupon is lost or stolen. And there is no cash value to the slot coupon unless the player wins on the free play. For instance, if a coupon was worth $25.00, then the player has $25.00 in free play. If the player doesn't win on the coupon, Foxwoods is not at a loss. Only if the player wins on the coupon is Foxwoods out of pocket, that is of course if the player wins a lot of money. But $90,000.00? That's a gross embellishment and a scam in and of itself by Foxwoods to use the police as a collection agency to alleged theft and obtain a conviction through a corrupt prosecution to recover losses as a result of its mounting debt. By the way, you know how many times I have been approached at Foxwoods by people looking to buy my free slot play or free bus coupons? Countless times. And many people sell their slot play for a price to guarantee money to play with because there is no guarantee that you are going to win on the coupon. Same thing with the bus coupons. People sell them.

Hooray for Milford for standing its ground and blocking Foxwoods from building a casino . Foxwoods is in debt everywhere it has build.
As for creating new jobs, they won't even pay their existing employees a decent pay and that's why there were complaints filed by their employees with their union.
If Foxwoods doesn't have the customer base to keep it afloat, what's next to pay off their debt, downsizing and laying off employees? Foxwoods is a scam. Hooray for Milford.
