Obama has no right to moan and groan about the deficit he inherited when he took office If the deficit was a pre-existing condition as he alleges, then he was fully aware of what he was getting himself into when he ran for President He made all those promises 4 years ago before he even took office that he was going to move our country forward. However, what was the deficit when Obama took office and what is the deficit now? Its clear Obama ran for President for the sole purpose of getting rid of a Republican in office and he was the Democrat who was going to do it. Obama has not improved our national debt nor has he stabilized the debt. Instead the debt keeps growing at the rate of 4 million a day. All who vote for Obama will be voting for party loyalty I'm sure a future Republican President or some other party's President other than Democrat will take the blame for Obama's actions these past 4 years and for decades to come. This country needs to take a look at job experience in government, business and finances as a criteria of all candidtes who want the job of President and not party affiliation Why do you think Obbama villanized Romney with misleading statements about Bain? Obama had no business or financial experience when he took office and based upon these past 4 years, he still doesn't have any. But its a glaring fact he was elected because he is a Democrat and not because he was experienced.

I am an ex-Leominster resident now living in Hungary. I follow all news and everything happening back HOME in Leominster and in Fitchburg every day and WBZ news etc.... I am very much concerned, and interested as to what happens back home. Reading the "up-to-date" info, I can not imagine as to why there is a question about who do we support in 2010 .......

Yeah right, real powerful stuff if you’re a useful idiot! Just as powerful and influential you might say as all that influential help he provided during this Community Agitator’s “shellacking” back in 2010.
I see that 8 year stink has made it to that knob between your ears! I bet you were one of the many dolts who believed his lie "I didn't have sex with that woman" before getting impeached. The Romney/Ryan camp should come up with a new Monica Lewinski, Kathleen Willey, Paula Jones and Dolly Kyle Browning ad focusing on their war on women narrative. Now that would be really powerful.

Any number of contradictory narratives can be generated from a limited number of facts. Ignoring some facts, inventing or misinterpreting other facts (mortgage meltdown), and selecting facts to be emphasized, de-emphasized, or rearranged leads to radically different narrative results. Control of the narrative (propaganda in the bad sense) yields political control, which is what the liar really wants. Clinton’s narratives are no different than Goebbel's propaganda.

Mr. Stamos, I see you still up to your usual babble and that you refuse to acknowledge the truth when it's presented to you.

Maybe you can give us your understanding of the status of our country when the last Administration left office?? I'd really like to hear your take on that subject. Just Facts has made the statement that there were eight good years under the last administration were you both in bed sleeping all those years????

You want to talk about the Bush yeas, ok! Let’s start with what Bush inherited but never once whined about like this Community Agitator who's entire term in office has been nothing but a blame game.

During the Clinton years, the Islamic Jihad against us became a gathering storm which included unprecedented attacks on American soil and military assets overseas. Clinton refused to acknowledge the threat and did virtually nothing in response. Instead, he and his national security team pretended that those attacks were by individuals and isolated groups and treated them like a law enforcement matter.(aka Oblame-Fort hood/NY Terror Trials)

•The World Trade Center was bombed by Islamists in 1993, killing six and injuring 1,042.
•We lost 18 US Special Ops forces in Mogadishu while fighting Islamist allies of Osama bin Laden.
•Osama bin Laden declared war against the U.S. in his fatwa of 1996.
•The Khobar Towers used to house our servicemen in Saudi Arabia were bombed by Islamists in 1996, killing 19 US servicemen.
•Our embassies in Tanzania and Kenya were bombed in 1998 by bin Laden supported Islamists, killing at least 223 and injuring thousands.
•Pakistan and India both successfully tested nuclear warheads in 1998, to the surprise of our CIA.
•The USS Cole was bombed in 2000 by Islamists, killing 17 US sailors.
•In Israel, the Oslo accords had broken down, the PLO had rejected the most generous "peace for land" deal ever offered, and the intifada was back in business by the end of 2000.
•Nations pursuing nuclear weapon capability (beyond Pakistan and India, who had it by 1998) were North Korea, Iran, Iraq and Libya.

Within six weeks of Bush being sworn in, our economy was officially in a recession. By November 2001 that recession was officially over, just one month under Bush's own budget, and weeks after 9/11 with just 10 months into his Presidency.

Clinton produced a surplus budget by decimating our military and weakening our ability to ward off our enemies. Ninety percent of his job reductions were achieved by cutting Military personnel. Not only did he decimate our front line forces, one year before 9-11, FBI chief Luis Freeh requested 864 new counterterrorism agents: He got 7.
During his administration, the analytical and operations branches of the CIA were cut 30%. His same misplaced priorities obstructed the our intelligence gathering efforts in Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan and all the other Middle East bases of terrorism. After he signed the Iraq Liberation Act, calling for the forcible removal of Saddam Hussein he became distracted by lying to the American people about his affair with Monika Lewinski and paralyzed the government for the next 2 and ½ years.

Bush’s war strategy of holding governments that harbored terrorists accountable was precisely what had been missing when terrorists attacked the World Trade Center the first time back in 1993. Democrats paint this war on terror as a blunder committed by the Bush administration, even an “invention” of the Bush administration, rather than an actual war that has been declared on us by Osama bin Laden and the global forces of Islamofascism.
In their warped view, Bush and America are responsible for the war that radical Islam has launched against us. This was not a tactical difference between opponents of the war policy and its supporters. It was strategic and kept this country safe throughout the Bush's years.

Didn't 9/11 happen on Bush's watch? Didn't Clinton send cruise missiles into a building where we thought Bin Laden was hiding out? Didn't Iraq have nothing to do with 9/11? Didn't Obama give the order for the SEALS to go in and kill Bin Laden?

Yeah, none of that happened.

Yeah, none of that happened.
In February 1993, terrorists detonated a 15 hundred pound bomb in the back of a Ryder rental truck in the underground garage of Tower one of the World Trade Center. That explosion killed six people and injured more than a thousand others.
An al-Qaeda operative named Ramzi Yousef planned the explosion so that it would release cyanide gas into the building’s ventilation shafts and elevators. He confessed later when captured his goal was to kill 1/4 million people in hopes that Tower One would drop Tower Two. In response, Clinton warned Americans against “overreacting.” He never visited the site. The Bomb maker, Iraqi Abdul Yasin fled to Iraq where he was given refuge, without any American protest to the Iraqi Government.

The significance of that attack as part of a global war on us was effectively concealed from the intended targets, American people. At the same time our enemies were encouraged to think they could attack us without any serious consequences.

8 months later they struck us again in Mogadishu, where U.S. Army Rangers were providing food supplies to starving Somalis. As one of his last acts in power Bush Sr. ordered troops to assist the UN in a limited role to provide food and medical supplies. Somalia, a largely “Muslim” nation was in the state of anarchy at the time and was being hijacked by warlords, and an al-Queada leader named Mohammed Aideed. Bush sent 22 thousand troops to protect those food lines.

5 months into the Clinton term and just 4 months after the first terrorist attack on American soil, all but 300 soldiers Clinton withdrew in an attempt to broaden that mission to a “nation-building” event. Remember the movie Black Hawk Down? In October of 93, the opportunity to capture some of al-Qaeda’s top aid’s supporting Mohammed Aidedd was launched by U.S soldiers who successfully completed the mission, but Aideed’s troops ambushed them shooting down two Black Hawk helicopters. Surrounded and outnumbered and without sufficient resources they had to be rescued by many hours later by Pakistani and Malaysian troops. When the fighting ended, 18 American soldiers laid dead while jubilant terrorists dragged one soldier’s corpse through the streets of Mogadishu, and atrocity that played on international television.

Clinton threw in the towel and pulled out all the troops.

One: you should site your sources for original material, as much of this appears to have been gleaned from wikipedia.

Two: we captured those responsible for the 1993 attack, and they are now rotting in jail.

Three: I saw Black Hawk Down, and the Clinton Administration did a lousy job in Somalia. Clinton himself has acknowleged this.

Four: you've completely disregarded the folly of Iraq, and Bush not taking his PDB regarding Bin Laden seriously enough.

Having pulled of two successful attacks against the “Great Satan”, the jihadists stepped up their activities while Clinton slashed our defense budget and continued with his anti-military agenda ultimately leaving George W Bush with the responsibility of dealing with the threat he left behind.
And now Barrack Hussien Oblame-O would like to reinstitute his anti-military agenda under the guise of “change”

Ronald Reagan supported the abolition of nuclear weapons. Gingrich and Lott agreed with Clinton to cut discretionary defense spending in 1997. You need to get your facts straight.

Correct me please if I am wrong but it has always been my understanding that Bin Laden was taken into custody for questioning of the first attack on the World Trade Center and on Clintons order, Bin Laden was released only to attack again.

Florida Retiree, where have you been is more like it? On the moon? You didn't come up with a legitimate explanation as to what the deficoit was when Obama took office, his campaign promises to fix it and what the deficit is now. You also didn't explain why Obama didn't at least stabilize the deficit and prevent it from increasing Also you had no comment about who is going to inherit the mess Obama created or that he lacks business and finance experience. Sick and tired of the previous administration? I think people are even more sick and tired of this country's current economic crisis and the fact the our President has failed us and wants a chance at another 4 years to destroy us altogether Get a clue!
