So now the state wants the area to enforce the cities & county to raise tax to pay for State Bridge (state road 76-bus.65) that THEY have let get in the bad shape it is in because the wanted to please the all mighty SDC(Still Your Dollar City) with a new road.
That bridge is rated as a 3, if they checked underwater they would find it is a 2 (at best) remember a 10 is best!
Their claim is: The “functionally obsolete” and “structurally deficient” but safe condition, when can a structure be obsolete & deficient but still be safe, that's a joke. Only can this be declared by a State that don’t care about the people that pays gas tax’s to keep roads safe!
The State built this bridge isn’t it their problem remember STATE ROAD 76 not county or city!

This bridge is a landmark and beautiful. It is being demolished. What a shame.

The real shame is - people posting about something they have no knowledge about.
