Harter House Tip Jar
sad story

United States

#1 Sep 20, 2011
Really? I shop there because I like their meats. I'm often fustrated with the lack of attention to the produce department, and the small selection of other goods available. When last I complained about these things one person responded with "its a meat market, not a super market". So, I adjusted my need for fresh produce and variety in the isles because I got good service when it came to meat.

Now I see a tip jar?! I have never seen anyone put anything in it, yet it has a wad of ones dumped in it?

Listen here Harter House! Pay your people what they deserve without the need for tips, or give us the same selection/produce as the other stores do!

Js this true? If ai is this 'tip jar' in the Hollister Harter House? Who is this supposedly for? The meat cutters or all the store employees? I have yet to see it but I certainly will be looking for it now.

Surely this is not really happening. I have never heard of such a thing except where entertainers work for tips.
