"-$800,000 to improve Norland Avenue at Walker Road in Chambersburg."

Is this the intersection with the terrible design at the new Norland mall?

Oh NO - please don't tell me this is yet more $$$ to now FIX the bad intersection that they just built there less then 2 years ago?

It sure seems way too easy to spend still more taxpayer money, when you have even MORE taxpayer money you need to "get ride of" to correct the bad design mistakes made at that intersection the FIRST time it was constructed.

Yikes.

With all the funds available it is a shame that no one has given any more or less thought to some sort of commuter service for the those that do not drive. We are proud to provide for the physically handicapped but what about the average person who does not drive and needs transportation .

Did I read this correctly? Mr. Shuster, the younger, has found ways to delay getting the $11.3 million to Chambersburg and environs as originally promised and now $5 million of those funds are being redirected to his home town and not Chambersburg. All of you good Republicans would serve this district well by remembering this (and similar situations) at the ballot box. Mr. Shuster, the younger, has trouble finding his way to Franklin County without a very detailed road map. Now it appears that his money has as much trouble getting to the County as he does.

no genius, the article is about Shuster spending the funding in Chambersburg....which last time I checked, is Franklin Co.

And Hook....please....for the love of journalism....this wierd obsession with trying to trash shuster is becoming redundant! Please start doing stories that are relevant.
