That is a shame to let an old beautiful building go to waste as it has. I went to Highland Hall when it was the Franciscan Father's Seminary. I know it is in very much of repairs, if the powers to be in Hollidaysburg, would only help the present owner of the properity. Please look into repairing this old historical building before it is too late. The Hollidaysburg Library is making a very bad mistake!

My mother attended Highland Hall in about 1935 and 1936; I believe she graduated in 1936. What a great shame not to use this beautiful building. Have any minds changed since this last post in 2006? I hope so.

If I could afford it I would have purchased Highland Hall and fixed up the place and bring it back to its former glory. Too bad I'm just an undergraduate in college who is up in debt to her ears. I really want to save Highland Hall and I don't even have any connection to the place.
