actually, protestants are heretics, and they may whine all they want, but they made the spanish inquisition look like a peace rally
oh, and just because you "can" doesnt mean you should, evangelizing the protestant faith is a sin, jesus *bows head* had a long, painful death for you, you really cant make an ounec of effort? oh, and baptists are the drunkards,my dads family (all protestant) are mostly alchoholics, and my moms side(all catholics) aren... AT ALL

sorry for the rant, i'm just glad that the internet isn't dominated by pagans (athiests, some hippie types) and heretics (almost everyone else)

and the idea is awesome, something styled(sound wise) after SOAD would be AMAZING

oh, and homosexuality is (90% of the time, if not always) a choice, and a sin, just wanted to say that
also, the freedom of religion is kinda dead, atheism (evolution "creating" everything) is forced upon children in public schools,
and even the pope can sin, he goes to confession every day, you protestants are all such hypocrites.

again, just a rant

the holy father beats the heck out of obama, the dali lama, and whatever rich televangelist is most popular at the moment

The hell's with all this whining back and forth. Guy came to ask a question and immediately some douche came to shit down his throat.

The other guys... eh.

Except for that one turd blabbing on about the wife of Jesus or summat: dude, what bad bowl have you been smoking that you come in here with that load of crap. Gawd, there's a new nutjob every minute.

As for enji, rock on, man; no form of expression is unholy unless it deliberately extols or promotes evil (a little bit of yelling, banging, and a bit of loud rock music I don't think counts...

Hope to hear from you.
I hope you give a listen to at some of the Catholic metal bands that are out there. They need fellow Catholic support. Have you heard of Theandric, Katholicus, Last Rites, Seven Sorrows, etc.? Check these and others out at CatholicMetal.com . You can freely download tracks from the first ever Catholic metal compilation CD: Praising Him Loudly.
Check it out.

Wow! Catholicism isn't like that! There isn't anything in the Bible about how Catholicism is against metal! Some where in the Psalms (I believe it's 150) it essays to praise God with clashing cymbals! Nice try taking a cheap shot like that, but no dice😀

I'm also Catholic and I would like to take this opportunity to answer some of you misconceptions, if you don't mind:
<quoted text>
Catholics also believe in one God.
From the Catechism of the Catholic Church paragraph 202
"We firmly believe and confess without reservation that there is only one true God, eternal infinite (immensus) and unchangeable, incomprehensible, almighty and ineffable, the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit; three persons indeed, but one essence, substance or nature entirely simple."
<quoted text>
Catholic do not believe that priests are God nor they are divine in any way. They are sinners just like anybody else. However, God does appoint in the Church leaders as in 1 Corinthians 12:28 "And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers"
I know many protestants that turn to their pastors whenever they are having difficulties.
Do you mean to say that protestants believe that their local pastor is a God? I don't think so.
<quoted text>
While it is true that the sexual abuse did happened, clergy sexual abuse is a problem for ALL of us. Most clergy, be they Protestant, Jewish or Roman Catholic, are good men with good intentions and are not like the fellows in the following accounts.
From an article written by Sam Miller, prominent Cleveland Jewish businessman
"Let me give you some figures that you as Catholics should know and remember. For example, 12% of the 300 Protestant clergy surveyed admitted to sexual intercourse with a parishioner; 38% acknowledged other inapprop riate sexual contact in a study by the United Methodist Church, 41.8 % of clergy women reported unwanted sexual behavior; 17% of laywomen have been sexually harassed. Meanwhile, 1.7% of the Catholic clergy has been found guilty of pedophilia. 10% of the Protestant ministers have been found guilty of pedophilia. This is not a Catholic? Problem."
<quoted text>
Scripture teaches that purgatory exists.
Christ refers to the sinner who "will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come" (Matt. 12:32), suggesting that one can be freed after death of the consequences of one’s sins. Similarly, Paul tells us that, when we are judged, each man’s work will be tried. And what happens if a righteous man’s work fails the test? "He will suffer loss, though he himself will be saved, but only as through fire" (1 Cor 3:15). Now this loss, this penalty, can’t refer to consignment to hell, since no one is saved there; and heaven can’t be meant, since there is no suffering ("fire") there. The Catholic doctrine of purgatory alone explains this passage.
<quoted text>
If Jesus was so against wine, why would he chose to be his first miracle tuning water into wine? John 2:1-11 Why not Grape Juice or grape Kool-Aid?
Give this person a cigar...
