Not counting on it but It would be nice to see the career politician voted out.

Here's your chance. Lets see if the Tea Party is what they claim to be.

Bill Shuster represents everything the Tea Party is against. He voted for & supported an administration the doubled the national debt through irresponsible spending.

Will the Tea Party support Conners? Or will they prove to be exactly what I think they are - a bunch of hypocrites who are nothing but an arm of the Republican Party.

Billy got the job from daddy. Daddy left congress to become a highly paid D.C. lobbyist. Why the 9th district elected this pair year after year is beyond me.
They are the perfect examples of "inside the beltway" clones. Now Billy will drown the campaign with corporate donations to crush his opponent and then declare that he won a victory for the "hard working folks of the 9th district."

Thus far, Shuster reports having spent $300,000 on his write-in attempt to get the Democratic nomination ... an attempt which netted him 1,200 votes out of a 9th District population of more than 500,000 persons!
Meanwhile, Conners spent a few dollars to run off a few thousand paper cards which unpaid volunteers handed out at the polls.
Which person do you want in charge of your tax dollars?
To normal people, this is a hilarious no-brainer, but this being the 2-1 Republican 9th District, the moron Shuster will win big in Nov. again.
It's been Shusterville since 1972, when Bill's dad blew into Bedford County from Pittsburgh, registered to vote as a Republican and picked up a petition to run for Congress, all in the same day, and then put a pile of money into that first campaign.

Were they really Democrats manning the polls for Shuster or Republicans without ID??
I think these people should have to show their Democratic registration cards??

"Shuster launched a write-in campaign slugged "Democrats for Shuster," in the hopes of capturing both nominations......

Democrats supporting Shuster manned the polls..."

I am not celebrating Shuster's ouster just yet. For years could not find one person who claimed to have voted for any Shuster, but somehow Shuster always won. Isn't it strange that people are embarassed to admit the voted for the slug.

I sent Shuster an e-mail about a bill or any information he could find. Well that was over a month ago and no response.
I guess if he don't have time to answer my e-mail, then I don't have time to vote for him!

I don't think "Tom is somebody who is just a regular guy," is much to go on as far as Conners' platform. Is Conners really just a "regular guy", or does he support a president (Obama) who tripled the last Bush deficit in his first year, is running debt at $100 billion per month, who has let the gulf oil spill get completely out of control, who has staffed his administration with everything from communists to pedophiles, and who has now been caught making illegal job offers to potential candidates.

Let's hear somemore about what Conners stands for and whether he supports our Marxist president before we call for a TEA Party endorsement. If Conners is still a member of the Democrat party, there's a 99% chance that he's just another big-spending socialist.

National debt: Oct 1, 2007 (end of fiscal year) 9.062 trillion
Oct 1, 2008 - 10.124 trillion
Oct 1, 2009 - 11.920 trillion.

So for fisval year 2008 - the national debt increased 1.062 trillion and for 2009 1.790 trillion.

Now, I didn't go to the Rush Limbaugh School of Conservsative Thought but I really don't think that is tripled.

Lie Number 1.

The fisval year of 2009, includes 4 months of Bush Spending - So it is not all Obama.

Lie number 2

And really, nothing like a Drill Baby Drill luinatic blaming a rig accident on someone else.

The Communist & pedifile comments are just Glenn Beck garbage that you were obviously dumb enough to believe. How pathetic for you to trash someone based on lies. Pathetic.

There were no illegal job offers - How many Beckian lies can you tell in one post.

Marxist? I thought he was as socialist, Communist or some other "ist". How original you people are - as soon as a Democrat gets elected to bring out the same terminologuy. You are So clever.

Yes that evil Democrats - seems to me Clinton balanced the busget.

But het vote for Bill Shuster who got the job thru a dirty political trick (funny how that is OK)- voted for nearly 6 trillion in national debt & for the very policies that nearly killed America.

I was right about you fake Patriot Tea Partiers. You only are far right, feeble minded arm of the Republican party.

Well Dave you gave some good points but let me correct a few mistakes. President Obama has hired some advisors that are self-discribed socalists. I don't know where that phedophile thing came from. Bush has raised the debt but so has Obama. In my opinion both parties are destroying America.
Just sayin.
