Looks as if there aren't too many direct answers to the PO reporter's email. Even Mr. Shuster has perfected the art of "Waffling".

From my perspective it looks as if Bill is taking the textbook position used by most seasoned politicians: Don't answer the question. Just make it look as if you are on top of things.

I've voted for Bill in the past, but not this year. Sorry Mr. Shuster.

Washington needs to hear from us in a way that gets their attention. Come November 2nd remember: D.R.I.P.!

Mr Suster forgot to aplogize. Apologize for his votes that led to the 5.1 trillion ion debt under Bush. Apologize for allowing two quagmire wars. Apologize for a 1.5 trillion unfunded tax cut.

Mr Shuster forgot to apologize for support lock step the administration that led us into the recession. The recession that caused the need for all the stimulus money he is complaining about. All the needed government services. All the reduced revenues.

It figures, we have a used car dealer representing us in Washington. Time to send him back to the used car lot.

Why is it we never see these guys until election time? Then they go for any photo-op available. Bill got this seat under the table after his father was re-elected & became to ill to work.(Dad now works as a lobbyist) Once in office you can never remove them. Even the guys like Kauffman who ran on term limits & keeps staying. D.R.I.P.

LMAO! Dude,,,he votes AGAINST the so called pork that he brings home. He'll hold the big ceremonial check or attend the ribbon cutting, but inthe end, he voted against the money going into the projects!!!! What a coward!

That's long enough to become part of the Washington establishment and represent nothing but the wealthy special interest that are buying his service.

Any politician who refuses to save the birthplace of the American Revolution i.e., the Justice William Smith House needs to go.

while watching a program on how small airports are collecting millions of taxpayer dollars each year, Altoona, pa was mentioned. anyone want to guess which elected official serves that area? the host explained the " tricks" they use to qualify for federal money. does this qualify to be called for pork barrel spending?

I think what we should do is make every building that was burned in Chambersburg a national museum....It may cost the taxpayers a few million dollars, but me and some of my friends at Brooklane feel that this is the birthplace of fire and should be preserved...what do you think?

I think you're awesome! And I also think it's awesome that you spend every day on here discussing political ideology behind the curtain of anonymity like the true coward that you are....completely afraid of revealing your true identity or actually getting involved in the process in any way. You're probably some broken 40 year old soul still living in his moms basement!
Oh, its one of the one name people, like Cher.

Complaining about people not using their real names when you don't either. Pathetic.

This is why the Shuster Dynasty loves Franklin County. We're so "low maintenance." Blair,Bedford and the rest of the districts get I-99, the Bud Shuster Byway, railroad funds, and a host of other projects. Franklin County fights anything that means change. Remember "No exit 7?" How long did it take to get LWE expanded? Whatever happened to the Route 30 bypass? Yet good old Franklin Co. delivers the votes. How about the 2004 Republican primary?

I can't understand why it [Chambersburg) was rebuilt in the first place.....and I've lived here all my life!
But, as soon as Mr O-bum-r and his "for the people" administration get things in the real estate market moving, my house will sell and I'm off to FL!
P.S. I'm not holding much "hope" on that real estate thing happening.
