It seems that DUI laws are not stiff enough along with all the other laws like stopping at a red light or stop sign. Drivers are getting worse each day. Even the cell phone laws are a joke. Either enforce them or repeal them.

NY State's law system is horrible. You can drink and drive and kill someone and only get 6 months in jail. My uncle was killed in an accident due to a drunk driver it's a horrible feeling knowing all that my family went thru the pain and suffering of losing him. And knowing the person will only get 6 months makes things even harder when your grieving.

I feel his license should be taken from him. Anyone who doesn't have any respect of school busses an children shouldn't be allowed to drive

Ok, everyone stop with the poor guy crap, you don't drink and drive, period. Anyone who does, obviously along with having no respect for themself, has none for anyone else. Hopefully they will get this guy off the streets before he does kill someone. That would be the real shame, if that were to happen.

What about the the elderly couple he hit head on and ran from that accident? Thats isn't included in the 3 DWI's in the last 3 years. He has had help for the past 10 years and still can't get his **** together! I feel bad for his three kids...pray for them!

Too bad he isn't a Judge or Mayor ... he'd already be out driving again. It will be tough to convict him if he was drinking after the accident before his arrest ... unless his lawyer is a complete tool. I hope one of these hypocritical posters gets thiers real soon.

The truth is this guy won't stop unless his license is taken away and so are the keys. He's a drunk. It takes one to know one and HE IS. Drunks do not just have bad judgment. He didn't just make a mistake. He can not be trusted to do the right thing until he has quit drinking for a period of time and then it's still not a guarantee. Some people will feel sorry because they say "it could have been me", well that doesn't fly when it has happened more than once.

mark wrote: alcoholism is a disease just like aids....he needs your help and prayers.... You can't help a drunk. Wait till he quits and then help him only if he askes for help. Anything else is a waste of your time. He will suck the life out of you and not give a cr@p. Pray, yes. But do it from a far. When someone has aids, the disease won't infect you and ruin your life by casual contact. Alcoholism will. He just needs to QUIT drinking.

I hope Joe finally can get some help that will make a difference. He so desperately needs it. He and his family deserve for him to be well.

I think this is the same Joe Glor that had the karate studio in Arcade that my daughter attended until - without notice - shut down. When I complained to him about his inconsistent hours he claimed he was having medical problems. After hearing this news story, I now know what his issues were.

Well maybe he did have some medical problems...waking up in your driveway, in front of the can, on the floor...there's a whole slew of problems he could consider needing medical attention! Take away his right to drive FOREVER!
