The 7 new taxes for those earning UNDER 250k

1 Individual Mandate Tax
2 Medicine Cabinet Tax that took effect in 2011
3 The Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Cap, which will begin in 2013
4 Medical Itemized Deduction Hurdle which is currently 7.5% of adjusted gross income
5 Health Savings Account (HSA) Withdrawal Tax Hike
6 Indoor Tanning Services Tax, which places a 10% excise tax on people using tanning salons.
7 Excise Tax on Comprehensive Health Insurance Plans

13 MORE taxes are expected to be reviled. that's what happens when you pass a bill without reading it

And the Bush tax cuts are expected to expire.

Enjoy your hope and the change you can believe in

We're doomed! DOOMED I TELL YOU!!!
Complete anarchy is RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER!
This great country of the UNITED STATES is on the precipice of COMPLETE AND TOTAL ANNIHILATION!

And the ONLY thing that CAN POSSIBLY SAVE IT IS,......

.
.
.
..........mitt romney.
.
.
really?
that's your pitch?
you realize your selling a "solution" that dosnt even remotely match your terrifying build-up, right?

I would hope that the GOP has a plan B or C, but judging by the last 10 years, they hardly have a Plan A before they green-light their plans of action.

See above for example.

One of only two possibilities

The liberals are the %1, the wealthy, because they don't seem to worry about paying all these new taxes their party imposes

OR

Liberals don't pay taxes or their own bills.

Its just that simple.

We've gone over this a million times.

Military, Medicare, Medicaid or Social Security. Which Republican politician should do the "honorable" thing and propose THAT?

"Obama-care is cutting BILLIONS from medicare... so there's where Obama thinks we should start." ~ BirtherDWG

You do "read" news other then what FOX feeds to you,....right?

• "GOP budget plan cuts deeply into domestic programs, reshapes Medicare, Medicaid - House Republicans laid down a bold but risky election-year marker Tuesday, unveiling a budget proposal that aims to tame the national debt by reshaping Medicare and cutting deeply into Medicaid, food stamps and other programs for the poor, while reshuffling the tax code to sharply lower rates."

...which leads us to our next post...

"...according to the almighty, all-knowing Bonds, these are the only options out there." ~ BirthyDWG

National Budget:

Military 20%
Social Security 20%
Medicade, Medicare and Safety Net programs 33%
Education, Transportation, Veterans Affairs, etc 20%
Interest 4%

Seeing as the big three are 73% of the Budget, its elementary that one/or all of these will need to be affected.

ALL of these programs need to be ON the table if we are serious about reducing our debt load.

YEP, most of it does, BD.

If you bought a house, and have to pay for it, and that's your big cost, but also bought some fancy clothing, making up .07 on the dollar, do you just go naked and still be in debt, or do you sell the house?

Too bad it's got to be explained to you.

Not ALL of it, but a majority of it.

Cut SS? It is funded by specific taxes.(Supposedly)

Cut the military? Who is going to risk their life for less?

Sure cut the leaches (Safety net programs) they don't matter.

Well maybe we should cut the leaches.

When things get tight you don't start with quit paying the mortgage... you start with cutting cable tv or going out to eat.

Well... commonsense would tell you that... but I guess it has to be spelled out for you

Yep. "extravagance" like education. We'll get caught up to those other countries by letting kids teach themselves to read. Up by the bootstraps!

You want all those things, Seven? Then you can't have the lowest taxes in 50 years. You have to PAY for them. BD here thinks that the 3 trillion$ deficit is nothing but waste. Yes, waste. It's simple. If you don't know how to do math.

Daily Horoscope for May 22

Taurus

The sad fact is that a certain person isn't making much sense right now. They seem to be talking nonsense, or maybe they've got the wrong end of the stick but are hanging on to it for grim death and refuse to let you correct them. Mind you, there's also the possibility that you're the one who has got themselves in a muddle but doesn't realize it. Scary!
