In reading the article I noticed they worded it "prominent cleric" instead of "islamic cleric" or "islamic imam". See how that works? Why don't they just say "Muslim mosque leader beats his 5 year old daughter to death because he though she was no longer a virgin."

On second thought, his God, Prophet Muhammad married Aisha when she was only 9 years old. So maybe his daughter was married and she slept with her husband.

Muslims are sick.

And no christian pastors have killed anybody?

“Reports from Fox -17 say: White was arrested Thursday morning and was charged with open murder and first degree murder. The sheriff says initially White denied being involved with Gay’s disappearance, but after blood-splattered evidence was found in his home, the victim’s home, and his truck, White told detectives the gruesome details about how he killed Gay, where he hid the body, and where he ditched the weapon.”

Is this where I should assume all "christians" are sick?

That is such a stupid response I am not going to dignify it with a reply. Well, maybe I should.

When was the last time you heard of a Christian pastor killing his 5 year old daughter because he thought she was no longer a virgin?

I have never heard of an instance of that happening, nor have I heard of any Christians killing their daughters or wives because of loss of "honor".

How about you disco stu?

"A pastor and his wife are in custody accused of killing three of their children by starving them to ward off evil spirits, police in South Korea said Wednesday..." ~ per link

Now should I assume all christians are sick?

Or do we come to the conclusion that yes, there are sick people out there that will use ANY REASON - including religion - to justify their actions?

no, its better to condemn an ENTIRE religion for some religious fundamentalists actions.

Do articles referencing the Pope say the "Catholic Pope", or do they just typically call him "Pope"?

That's your call. I'm not going to tell you what to do or think any more than I am going to let you tell me what to do or think.

Fair?

"Christian Christian Reformer"

Maybe it's assumed that a cleric is Muslim?

You made a false statement of fact concerning the how and who that Muslims worship Blackhorse.

No one in this world has ever considered Prophet Mohammed to be God or Allah, that would be a Muslim Heresy.

Your statement of fact or your opinion of ignorance, whichever you made it to be is false, you are a liar and instigator of lies.

At your advanced age you need to seek the high station of Jesus Christ for your own Salvation.

Being a Christian does not give me a license to condone lies concerning other faiths or paths of God.

Very well, disregard what I said. It is my opinion. Much like some here consider the Christian bible a "fairy tale".

If what I say bothers you, don't read it. Again, it is my opinion. Does it bother you that I have an opinion?

Blackhorse,

Sounds like you and McDingleBerry have something in common. LOL.

As far as your opinion here goes, I think the appropriate response would be "Yep, I am wrong on this one." But, that takes a man to admit.

You want me to apologize? No thanks, I have my opinion and I don't change it to suit someone else's wishes. But thanks anyway for the invitation.

What really surprises me is that bonds77, disco stu, Mr. Dingleberry, Truth and you, actually care about what I have to say.

I appreciate all of you for listening to me instead of just ignoring me. I may start posting what is politically correct instead of saying what I think, to keep from pissing off everyone. Hummmmmmmm,..... Nahhhhhhh. I'll continue to say what's on my mind. This is a public forum .... right? Or can't I do that?

Why do you get so upset by my posts? They are only my thoughts. Wouldn't it be easier to ignore them?

I just dont understand who would think that promoting "hate" is a good thing?
or will benefit anyone?
or help the situation?

Thanks for the reply disco stu, but where did I say I hate anyone? More accurately, I said I don't understand how a religion supposedly full of love and compassion condones infanticide.

I still think anyone who kills his/her own child is sick. Especially if it is done because the parent thinks the child has had sex and is no longer a virgin.

If the child is not a virgin, it would be more appropriate to kill the SOB who raped the little girl. What is wrong and hateful about that opinion?

Nobody said that the religion is full of love and compassion. You take some tidbit you find online and make it OUR opinion. It's not.

My opinion is the same as it was 5 years ago, and you can choose to like it or not- that religion, for the most part, is positive for most people, but there are crackpots and nutjobs that use it as an excuse for crappy behavior. No one religion(to me) is "better" than the other, because I don't believe in any of them.
