I have played many times in Holdenville Casino. And I know that they run this casino on a network .But if you go in and play and there are very few other players your chance of winning is next to none. When a casino is set up on a network their pay out percentage is set based on how many players that are playing at that time.So this is very unfair. If a person goes out there to play they should have the same chance to win as anyone else. And to be able to win should not be based on some network or how many players that the casino has playing at that time. This is taking peoples money very unfair way to run this casino .People of Holdenville are getting very wise to this type of rip off.

This is why people should vote for class two gaming in Oklahoma.Because the Indian Casinos have no regulations when it comes to machine pay outs. They set their own percentage very low most of the time .Class two gaming regulates the pay out percentage of 87 to 91 percent on these type of casino machines. And they are checked each month by the gaming inspector with a large fine. If they are found to be lower then the regulated percentage. This is why most casinos in Oklahoma are getting very rich.

If you don't like it stay out simple as that. they don't have to bring you cold drinks. they do it as a courtesy. everytime i have been in there they have been nice enough to ask. people in this town need to get off there fat asses and get there own drinks. a little excersise isn't going to hurt you. and no running your mouth isn't considered excersise.

You have shown from your comment that you know very little about casinos or general business matters. You must be from Holdenville. Yes they don't have to bring you cold drinks but courtesy is part of being a professional casino.

According to a group of you a week ago people are bad or have no morals if they are going to the casinos. Now you have changed your minds because you have a complaint? They are a business just like any other and I would assume if there aren't that many people playing the machines then they are not making a very big profit so why would they let you win? They are not going to just hand out those winnings big or small if they are not making any money. If that were the case they would not be there at all. Why do they need to bring you a drink? Do you pay for that service and do you tip them? I thought they were casinos not restraunts. Did you guys run out of things to complain about. Why would you throw your money away on a game of luck not skill? I wish i had enough money to just go give it away. Move to Vegas maybe you would like it better because they will bring you all of the cold drinks you want 4/7 and if you spend enough money you will get a free meal or jacket with their logo or a free room at their hotel!etter yet get a life!

They cant take tips out their a bum deal I think. And yes it's ran poorly not up to standards I have also worked in Vegas and Reno .I know how
real casinos are run .They are also firing their best workers for talking to people playing machines .This is bad.Alot of people go out there to see their friends and visit with the ones they know working there,This is part of any job where people come out to play. Be nice say hello and smile.Whats wrong with that?.To win should also be fair to all with no network.

The casino is ripping people off. The people that go in there and waste their money are ripping themselves off. Why not spend your money on something worthwhile, casinos were built by losers and everyone that spends their money in them are losers. Suckers!

no. what was voted on was, in essence, to pay oklahoma schools more money so that they could supply classrooms with better learning utilities. however, the only thing that has really happened, are the teachers got substantial raises, and parents are still furnishing all the goodies for the kids' classrooms.

funny you should say this....you go to the casino, yet you complain that the casino rips off the folks who come to play--would you say that about a casino not affiliated with an Indian tribe?
you don't like the way the casino is run, then don't go....i'm not holding a gun to your head and making you go--
if you can't afford to lose the money, then don't play~~simple....don't blame the tribe....

Well t8rtot It isn't the tribe that is keeping the casino open playing their nickle or maybe dime spins for hours and hours and never getting anywhere. You know it is the white folk who play the dollar and five dollar machines. So you shouldn't be tryin to run people off.

From the starting topic in this form Ive read as stated nothing more then what it says .The casino is running a network that is unfair to all players.Yes everyone should have the same chance to win.How do you folks get so off track into all this other crap?

i'm not running people "off", just stating my point. if your gripe is how the casino is operated, then complain to the state--tribes had to agree to certain "rules" to run casinos.
just another way the white government wants to take over. and yes, i am native american!

what are you talking about "just another way the white government wants to take over" The federal government has always had control of indian affairs.

thats what i mean poison ivy.....my people try to do something and the government waltzes in and throws its weight around and we're supposed to just kowtow to it like the government is doing us a favor....hear of the trail of tears? boarding schools?
my family walked the trail and my Grandmother was in a boarding school(as was her Mother)...to be "civilized". the stories i've heard, the white folks need to be "civilized".

t8trtot, we are getting off topic but the fact is the federal government has always retained the right to regulate certain aspects of indian affairs since the constitution, so the federal government stepping in is no different than the federal government stepping in to state government affairs. If you want to discuss this further start another thread.

Of course I know about the trail of tears
