Peanut butter Brownies with chocolate frosting on top

They are talking about a very moist chewey brownie with chocolate frosting on top. Typically, served on pizza day...Fridays. This was back in the early 1970's at Brookfield elementary school in Brockton Mass. Mrs. Perault was the head cafeteria lady. These were the absolute best desert we had back then.
does anyone have this recipe??

Didn't the peanut butter squares have chocolate on them? I think we're talking about a few different recipes here. They're probably all good but the peanut butter squares I remember had chocolate on them. Does anyone have that recipe?

The recipe at the link below seems more like the peanut butter bars at my school. No chocolate and more of a brownie consistency.

1 cup Corn Syrup, 1 cup sugar -- Boil together

18 oz Peanut Butter + 7 oz Cornflakes -- add to the
above
Press dought onto cookie sheet and cut into squares.

I know it doesnt sound right with the cornflakes....but it is. And yes, they are good. Seem alot richer to me today then they did back then

Thanks to everyone who posted the recipes on here. I was wondering if any of you are looking for the slightly dry ones (probably made with powdered sugar or dry milk???) The ones I had didn't have any toping on them but chocolate chips inside.

I'm going to try a few recipes that you all posted. I too have been looking for this recipe for several years, but lived in the Auburn area of California in the 80's when they served it in my elementary school.
