Hodgenville City Police/Blind to drug activity

Please watch the parking lot at the 200 building of Cox Lane in Lincoln Village better than what you have in the past. It is embarrassing to know that drug deals involving prescription drugs, marijuanna, as well as meth are being conducted right there in the parking lot. The vehicles involved are known to you, you know that's what is going on, why are you continually ignoring it????

I would like to think they are doing the best for what they have to work with. The mayor has the police force down to 1 officer per shift about 90-95% of the time.

This is very true. I have heard them even ask for people to go to the Mayor and voice their concerns. No one does. Just think how big our county is and how small the force is, city and county. These guys do the best they can and I for one have been so mad at them sometimes I wanted to just spit, but you always have to calm down and put yourself in their shoes. I don't care what you do, you are never going to please everyone. It's just not humanly possible.

you fine people of hodgenville voted in your present mayor and knowing his past.now you have pissed away a good mayor and now you get what you voted for.he will run it the way he wants to and no one and i mean no one will tell him what to do.he is IN CHARGE.would not suprise me if he is not down there buying it for himself.this guy has broke up families and been fired from 3 or 4 police agencies.he all of a sudden got the lord and run his election on that bull.you all fell for it hook line and sinker.just bend over and continue to take it up the old butt hold.

Nothing against the men that are there working as police officers, but it is so sad that the city is not trying to better the force. The officers they have are probably burnt out because they HAVE NO HELP! Reguardless of how much crime they have to fight, one bad call makes for the whole shift to be horrible and stressful. Its sad really, that the mayor has been there, had he taken his job seriously as a police officer back in the day, he might understand what they deal with, instead he was befriending those that did the crime...well thats what i hear anyway, i wasnt there.

The Mayor and Madonna has ran off all the good police officers, Don't be surprised when more employee's leave due to thier incompetence and controlling attitude. If the citizens of this town really cared, they would be up there going thru the records and seeing where all thier tax dollars are going. Sounds like someone is just upset that they could be the next one caught. Dont get me wrong I dislike rats too but in all honesty if you would stop doing the drugs your name wouldnt be on here, reported to the police and/or be watched by the police. Seriously,the people doing meth,coke,pills, etc are not only hurting yourselfs but you are also hurting your loved ones as well. Your not just ruining your own lives, your screwing up/destroying your families too. All in all if your caught doing any of this I have no simpathy for you. I do feel sorry for your family tho because I have expierenced first hand how drugs can destroy it but I absolutely have no simpathy for the people that do get caught doing something so ignorant as drugs.

I dont completly agree with FED UP but he/she is kinda right. If all these people who do and sell drugs were not so obvious about what they were doing, then nobody would suspect them or put their names or other identifying things on here about them. Also, remember that the people you deal with can sell you out to save their own skin. You can say your friends arent rats all you want to but if the circumstances are right, they will. Do you honestly think that someone who got busted for using meth wont rat? They know if they go to jail they arent gonna be able to get the fix they desperatly need just to feel "normal". They are gonna go through withdrawal. They know this and they WILL rat. Use you head people. It doesnt take a rocket scientest to figure it out.

Thank you HPD. I did notice the cruiser in the parking lot and around the building twice over the weekend. Keep up the watch, awareness slowed thier activity. Hope to see the cruisers more often. Alot of small children play in that area, and it would be really sad if HPD ignores the area and those little children are approached by these social monsters. Don't really knbow who you think i am, however i sure do hope that HPD has seen that you think you have the right to curse your neighbors and deal drugs in the parking lot of government housing.
