Barry Hinkle (PJ owner) is a friend of mine and was hoping to open by Super Bowl weekend. Construction delays has pushed the opening back a couple of weeks. They will be taking applications very soon.

The only other one that will survive will be Hometown and that's only because it's a dine in restraunt, has a buffet at lunch and a wider selection of items. I for one am very excited about Papa Johns coming to Hodgenville. Let's make sure they stay and maybe if they succeed other nationally known restraunts will follow.

I wish we could get some good restaraunts here we could really use them. A good chinese restraunt would be great we used to have one. The one we have now is awful. The food sucks. I won't touch the mexican restaraunt cause its so nasty and dirty. We do have some good ones here though just need more. We really like hodgenville grill, subway, hardees, mcdonalds, hometown. and lincoln freeze. Pizza hut is so expensive and you get very little for what you pay and the service their sucks.

Hodgenville Grill is ok but getting ole. Subway, mcdonalds and hometown is ok but hometown is expensive unless you go for the buffet. Ayiannas or Miguels or whatever it is now is good for what it is but what's mexican food without a margarita to go with it? Pizza Hut sucks and is really expensive also. There buffet is not good at all. We need a Wendy's, taco bell, Papa Johns(which is gonna be nice) maybe a "country cookin" buffet would be nice. Or soul food restraunt

Does hodgenville need 4 pizza places? Someone needs to bring in a Buffalo Wild Wings, They have bone in or boneless, and like 20 different levels of spice flavor and heat. Elizabethtown has about 8 Chicken restaurants, no real sports bar and wings, Not with wings being speacialty, and hodgenvile is overrun with hamburgers and pizza, WHAT THE HELL, ETOWN CHICKEN LOVERS, AND HODGENVILLE PIZZA LOVERS. Bring in something new, Fish, Olive Garden something that doesnt revolve around pizza and hamburgers!

Papa Johns was open last night and was very busy. I hope they keep it fresh with the toppings and don't let them set like some places do. GOOD LUCK

Well the new papa johns opened and then closed at 10 am on super bowl sunday. What the hell? The note said they were out of food. How do you open a buisness and then run out of supplies 3 days later? Back to hometown I go!

Are you for real they are out of food! They should have known that they were going to do good buisness the first few days and knew that super bowl Sunday was going to be a hit. That is nuts if it is true! We ordered yesterday and it was terrible they said it would be 45 min and 15 minutes later they were knocking and it was raw dough with toppings. We called and they gave us a credit, after that we could not go any pizza! My daughter ate and thought it was gooey cheese until I pointed out is was raw dough talk about being sick!

Go read the note on the door for yourself! Poor management at it's best!
