I was friends with Justin back in elementary and middle school, then he moved to LaRue Co. His girlfriend and him were in a wreck where he was killed, and she was badly injured. I came to the funeral home, but didnt really find out what had happened. Does anyone remember this? They were in his pickup, a red chevy. It was on Dixie, past Bault Oil Co., and does anyone know how the girlfriend is doing?

I remember this, like it was yesterday. It was very traumatic for all of us. He just overcorrected after running off the side of the road a little, not very far at all. They hit a tree. The truck burnt.

Justin was a precious person and I miss him daily.

Michelle is married and has a little boy about 2 years old. Last I saw her she was doing well.

it happened in White City in the lot to the left of the brick house across the street from the old Milbys store. There is usually a cross there.

correct me if i am wrong, but was she pregnant at the time of the wreck? it seems like i remember hearing that? they were engagaed too, right? not too long before? it was so sad. you know he died in november, and i remember going to his funeral, and his momma wanda was standing there; we were real close, and the leather jacket he was buried in was a christmas present that she had bought and never got to give to him. how tragic. god, i do miss him. he was so funny. i wish he would have never moved away from glendale.

I miss you Justin, you were truly a great guy and the best friend a person could ever asked for. You had a heart of gold and would have helped anyone that was in trouble. I think of you all the time and wish you was still here, I know your up in heaven watching over us. I just keep in mind i'll see you again. Miss you!

I miss him so much. Still on a daily basis I catch myself shedding tears because I am selfish and wish he was still here on the earth. But knowing he's in heaven watching over me constantly, and that I'll see him again and hug his neck once I get to heaven, keeps me from having a complete meltdown. He was the most precious person I've ever met and would do anything in the world for me. I love you Justin! Missing you always...

Omg just seeing this and realizing that my uncle still has an impact on other people's lives to this day makes me so proud to be his neice. It also makes me miss even more then you can imagine, he was.like my.big brother. We are only 8 years apart, and I don't know how I have made it the last 7 years without him. If any of you want to visit us, we still live on 84 in hville. We really are truly thankful that his memory it's kept strong.my aunt michelle is fine as well. We are still close as always.

I want everyone to know how happy it makes me that you all loved him so much, and I'm so proud that he left such a legacy behind in you all.

I still miss him so bad, and everyday is unbelievably hard to get through we were so close.
Justin was my baby brother, but since he was 13 years younger, he was like my own child at times, and as he grew up he became my best friend. So, I feel like I lost all three, and I will never recover from losing him. I want you to know that knowing people still think of him helps so much.

I have had a baby since he passed, she was 3 months early and weighed 1 pound, she was due in October but, decided to come in July on the 14th, in 2008.
She was heaven sent being born in July, 1/2 of his birthday, and 4 years from losing him. I know he had a hand in sending her to me, and staying by her side at Kosair, until she came home after a 3 month stay. Her name is Lillyan Faith Justine, his legacy, and she is so much like him, funny, fearless, full of life, and love for everyone.

Justin's birthday is July 28, and I know that he would love for you to come by and see him for a minute, hes at Sonora cemetery, second entrance coming from Sonora, can't miss it hes up on the hill (black stone). I know Mom and Dad would love to know that you still remember him so well and talk about him. Feel free to leave him a note or balloons we put everything that his friends leave him in his room in his trunks. there is a bench where you can sit a while if you like.

Thanks again and God bless you all,
Bridgette

Thank you Bridgette...I hope you see this. I was the one that started this thread. I hope you see this or someone that knows you sees it. My name is Shelby. We lived in Glendale when you all built the house on 222. I truly miss Justin. And something made me think about him tonight. I miss your mom too. Tell her Shelby Smith, we lived on Mud Splash, across from your house behind the old barn...said hi and that I think about everyone often. I am so glad you let us know how to get to his site. I couldnt go to his burial that day after visitations/funeral. I hope everyone is doing fine. Hate that its even about this topic, but love to see him still being remembered! I will definitely have to go out to Sonora.
