Why has it been so quiet. Lets raise some more hell about the EMS:

*Sorryass Director
*Sorryass EMT's
*Sorryass Paramedics

They should all go. Lets talk about about it some more and raise more hell about this lousy bunch.

Does it really surprise anyone, Larue co is turning to Hardin co.? Everything they do is based on Hardin co. Taxes- insurance- kids moving to E-town school system. The people with money feel the residents of Larue are not good enough for them. Larue should be tied to Green- Taylor- Washinton- Nelson Hart "same type jobs, people, and economics! Hardin co tries to be Jefferson and Bullet co.. Why is the Health Inspection out of Hardin? Give us some COORPORTIONS then our economics will move up. EMS sucks because of the HELMS_PERKINS_

I have worked for Pat for the past few years, and I can say that he has done the best he can do with what he has been given to work with. He has always tried to do the best he could for the people that work there. What some of you may not understand is that the Fiscal Court limits what he is able to do. He has tried for years to get rid of the on call shift and put 2 crews on for 24 hours, but Fiscal Court won't let him do it. I know that a lot of people have respect for what he has done and tried to do, other than the few, and I do mean few wannabes that don't work there, or the trouble makers that want to run to the county judge and try to make the man look bad for reasons that are beyond his control. I think the man deserves a little respect. Oh, and by the way, no one is "getting rid" of him, he made this decision months ago.

Very well stated. Only the haters seem to post on topix. It's sad people have to bring down others to make themselves feel better. If you don't like someone, the adult thing to do is keep it to yourself...not sit at a keyboard and hurt people! I think the employees of EMS do a great service to our community. Thank you all for what you do.

You call them haters yet just maybe they are the ones being treated badly or have witneessed the corruption and no one will listen! When adults bury their heads in the sand and wont speak up allowing corruption to go on makes them just as guilty. Could their have been a little pressure over wrong doing, expidited his decision to resign? Ems services are valued to local communities as long as the bad apple doesnt run the whole bunch.

Karma, I have never personally witnessed Pat (or Amy) treat anyone badly. I have witnessed them discipline employees(including myself) when they felt it necessary. No one ever agrees with their boss 100% of the time, but then again, don't be so quick to judge until you've walked in their shoes. Do I think Pat is a saint? No. Do I agree with all of his decisions? No. Do I know everything that's involved in running EMS? No. And I doubt any of the people posting on here do either. I can probably name everyone who's posting the negative comments and why they are posting them, but nothing good would come from that.

Obviously you don't know the truth! He was told to leave. According to my magistrate he was told to resign or be fired! But of course I wouldnt expect him to tell you the truth about that either. You must be easily fooled.

Is this one of the magistrates that we never see at EMS? One of the magistrates that doesn't even know our names? Think what you want. Why does everyone care so much to post all these opinions? Pat is leaving so worry about what's to come, not what once was! We have bigger concerns now like who is going to take over? Will we have jobs? How much money will we make?

I know what we've seen him deal with and talk about at work for the past few months, long before any of this stuff started on topix. And I have matured to the point that I don't believe in Santa Claus

Maybe you should beleive in Santa. You ever think they might be fabricating their story to garner support. I too know them an watched them destroy my friends lives. For you to support them you must beleive in Santa! Your probably a newbee, a replacement for a previous employee that had to leave to keep their sanity. Just wondering are you one of those that eat at the same trough as pat? Aint it crowded?

Pat's replacement has already been picked. You will either straighten up or be gone. It will take time but our EMS will again do their job and be respected.

Who is the poor sucker? Yes it will take time, a lot longer than it did to screw it up. Where did all this go wrong, pat used to be a decent boss. New boss better hope big un leaves too or God help them.
